Permalink*Bn suddenly appears in the RP community.* Hey all. Bn here with an idea for an RP. Now, if this has been done before I sincerely apologize, and I will retreat to my hidey-hole. I will now attempt to explain what it is I want to do.
Who here has seen the movie "Jumpers"? This RP has basically the same idea. You have Jumpers, people that are able to teleport anywhere in the world. Then you have the Templars. They are an ancient, secret organization that has hunted and killed Jumpers for centuries. Lastly we have, well, normal people. These are average Joe's with no special abilities.
__Rules__
1) Bn and those he appoints as acceptors have the final say.
2) Keep language down please. I don't have any problems with it, but I'm sure some people do.
3) Put electricity in your everything else.
4) No romance. At least not every freaking character in a relationship. I see any kissing, making out, snogging, holding of hands, etc. It won't be pretty.
5) Your backstory must have at least two paragraphs.
6) The usual. No OP, Meta-Gaming, Trolling, Gary/Mary-Sue, etc.
7) Out of RP must have double parenthesis or whatever it is you use.
8) Respect your fellow RP'ers. They are here to have fun and enjoy making a story.

This is where I'll go into more detail of each kind of character.
--Jumper--
These seemingly ordinary people have the strange ability to teleport anywhere in the world.
1) Jumpers can only "Jump" to places they have been to or seen before.
2) Their weakness is electricity. If struck by a large enough Voltage, they are rendered helpless. This includes being unable to jump away.
3) Unless a Jumper has a site memorized, they must have a photograph.
4) Jumpers always cause a disturbance when they jump. This decreases as they practice, but it is alway slightly noticeable.
5) They can take people and objects with them when they jump. If they are in water when they jump, some of it will follow them.
--Templar--
These are the secret organization that have hunted Jumpers thought history.
1) Being an ancient organization, they are powerful and very wealthy.
2) They do have knowledge of the Jumpers' weakness.
3) The Templars' weapon is a short staff. It is two feet in length, has chrome tips and is capable of shooting an electrified cable with surprising force. However, if you would like to create your own weapon, I won't stop you.
4) Templars do not have any special abilities, other that a knowledge on how to fight Jumpers.
5) They are ruthless. They will stop at nothing to kill a Jumper, including interrogating and even killing family and friends.
--Average Joe/Betty--
These are people that are neither a Templar or a Jumper. However, being related to a Jumper puts them at risk.
1) Avg. J/B cannot become a Jumper, but they can become a Templar.
2) If they have come into contact with a Jumper, then they are at risk of being killed by a Templar.
