The Wall, as it is called, is the only thing that keeps the Relentless North out of the rest of the land. And a group, called “The Night’s Watch” takes up cloaks of black, and monitors the Wall. No women are allowed to join, as they are too valuable, and “it is a Man’s job”. They are ever vigilant of an ancient threat. Of course, this threat is regarded as myths, and instead the keep out “Wildlings”. Every winter, they go out, to the Relentless North, and search for this Ancient threat. Many of these dispatch parties never return. The Night’s Watch, refuses to take up arms for any kingdom. And, often, criminals, and other scum, take up Black, to evade punishment, as all past crimes are forgiven. But, those that take up Black, are forbidden to have children, or to interact with women.
Many of the remaining kingdoms, have split up, and are waging war. There are the “Rebels” in the North, the “Loyalists” in the south, the “Tribesmen” of the West, the “Mercenaries” in the east, and the Wildlings who seek to take back what was once theirs.
Winter is coming, and the ancient threat stirs. Soon enough, those who seek the throne, will have much more to worry about then who sits upon it. Many new factions, and houses are popping up in the world, as well. In this cruel world… who will you be?
This is heavily based on A Song of Ice and Fire: A Game of Thrones, but, it will differ in the actual RP.

Belongs to what house? The Night’s Watch (Formerly: House Iudin)
Occupation: Lord Commander (Leader) of The Night’s Watch
Age: 58
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Backstory: Kel Dust, Lord Commander of The Night’s Watch, was born, a bastard. It is a very well-known fact that both his parents were royalty. This was before all the war, however, and the families were not rivals. But, both of his parents were, already wed. So, he was born a bastard. He was mistreated by his Mother’s Husband, and his Father’s Wife. Most of his siblings also mistreated him. But, as all bastards do, he took it. Of course, he was still upset and angered when people called him a Bastard. When Dust, was the fine age of 17, he took up Black, and ran off to The Wall. As all the “Crows”, as they’re called, are “Sworn Brothers” he felt at home.
Kel stayed with The Night’s Watch until he was ready to go to the Relentless North. He ventured out, with a few others, and they patrolled “The Others’ Forest”. His patrol was killed by “The Others”, and he only survived because he had been atop a cliff, examining rotting bodies. When he returned to his patrol, he was met by a gruesome sight. His fellow “Crows” were walking. And they had been killed, and reanimated. Some were cut from the gut, to the throat. Others had their jaws cut off. They were lucky. He had managed to burn them, and run off. They burned quickly, and died. When he returned, he recounted the tales. He didn’t desert, that was suicide.
Kel, stayed for many more years, quickly becoming the Lord Commander. His “family” rules the land, that is south-most of The Wall. But, he doesn’t care. He is a Bastard after all, and he has much more to worry about. After all, this is the second time in his life, that winter is coming. And the last time that happened, The Others revealed themselves, and killed his Patrol. They thought they were dead. They were wrong.
Anything Else? A lion still has claws, even if he is a bastard.
More to come… soon.
