Name: Daemonica Aiu'Invidium

Age: Roughly twenty seven centuries

Sex: Female

Biography: Daemonica Aiu'Invidium, the Eleventh Hellspawn of the demonic House Invidium, has held her position as Head Instructor on the Ruby School of Magic at the Mage's College for nearly a century and a half now. Daemonica was originally summoned as an experiment by the (at the time) current Master of the Ruby School to assist in the training of his class. After all, the Master argued, who better to teach about the demonic social structure and methods of dispatching them than a demon? As it turned out, nobody was. Students under the Master reported that they had, in the time Daemonica had been employed under her summoning contract, become far more adept at the art of demonic rituals and summons, leading those in charge of the College to wonder if a full time position wasn't in order for the captive Arch Demon.

As fate would have it, the Master of the Ruby School, less than a year after he first summoned Daemonica, made a mistake while summoning an otherworldly elemental entity and was said to have been incinerated on the spot. Eyewitnesses reported Daemonica, in the midst of a lesson of her own, suddenly stopping and releasing bone chilling laughter before vanishing in a column of sulfur, flames and ash. Unfortunately, Daemonica found herself being summoned once more to the College shortly after the death of her contract holder, this time being faced by several of the students she once taught. In a rather odd turn of events, the students presented her with a new contract, to continue teaching the Ruby School as Head Instructor until the day the College itself were to be destroyed. Daemonica, like any summoned being, could not refuse the contract and has since fulfilled it to the letter.

Fortunately for her, the actual guidelines behind the contract were vague for the most part, allowing her no small amount of freedom to do as she saw fit. She could roam the College grounds and leave them as she saw fit, so long as it were for a teaching reason, and she was able to do almost anything to her students, so long as it didn't result directly in extreme personal injury or death. After the first few decades of her contract Daemonica had settled into a relaxed life of teaching, tricking, failing and playing with her students, passing only those who showed a true ability for their craft. Daemonica spends the majority of her days roaming the gardens of the College grounds with her class in tow, pestering her fellow Masters and relaxing in her chambers drinking all manner of exotic teas while eating pastries and thinking of new ways to weed out the useless students in her classes.

Race: Arch Demon

Race description: Unlike their hideous and less refined relatives, Arch Demons are known for their intellect and more 'normal' appearance. Arch Demons are considered by many to be some of the most dangerous of the demonic legions, with only several other castes reining above them in terms of power and terrifying qualities. Many believe that Arch Demons were once mortal beings, driven by sinful desires until they were consumed by demonic influence. This theory has yet to be confirmed.

Role: Head Instructor of the Ruby School of Arts.

School of magic: None aside from her own demonic abilities.

Appearance: Height: 4'6"

Personality: Sadistic, cruel, unforgiving and insidious, Daemonica perfectly embodies what it means to be a demon. She feels nothing for the mortal races and wishes only to cause problems for them in any manner she can (within the boundaries presented in her summoning contract of course.). Nearly three millenia of of existence have left Daemonica with enough experience to understand how the mortal mind works and how to manipulate it for her own enjoyment. Her chambers in the College are well furbished and spacious, showing perfectly her desire to be surrounded by the finest of comforts and she has a love for the colors of black, pink and red.

Daemonica also finds the art of mortal warfare to be most entertaining and collects a large number of weaponry from around the world and beyond it, all of which she makes a note to experiment with during her class' annual summoning hunt.
