If you are looking for a nice team to play with, you have found the right place!
Right now you must be wondering, who are these guys?
We are the Silence community. And unlike our name we do love it to hang out together to become a true clan.
Currently we are building the fortress of Dol Guldur. We do have rulership over the lands of Mirkwood. but also quite a lot of friends and allies.
We will not just build our realm (in survival) but also have events and wars. There is plenty of stuff to do!
This server is on the Lord of the rings mod, and we will help you to get it all up and running.
And a little fun fact, our team is almost 7 years old and will stay around for quite a while in the future!
We do have a few rules, it is just the standard nonsense.
1. Do not grief.
2. Do not steal.
3. Be respectful.
4. Be friendly towards us and our allies.
5. Last but not least, have fun!

Why do you want to join Silence?
There are many reasons, regarding my wish to join your team. Let me start off with telling you how much I love Minecraft and the LOTR movie in general. I have wathed every single LOTR and The Hobbit movie. Working on a LOTR themed server would be a dream come true for me. Silence sounds like a really fun, happy and badass group. I want to help out in projects with a good, active team and be a part of a great playing environment
2. Have you been part of a group/team or faction before?
I have been part of many towns and factions, I prefer towny though so I have been actively playing that on multiple servers for years. I have been staff on some small servers with friends but they all went downhill or died :/.

Today was a interesting one. We did a test bsttle against shipcommander in the brown lands. 100 orcs vs 100 gondorians.
The spider riders were truly effective. Especially the archers.
We may have lost from his elite units, but it was a great event.
A few things are clear.
Dol Guldur is nearly untakeable.
In our next encounter, trolls from Mordor and Angmar will be used. Always lovely to see some flying npc's.

Soon i will post pictures about Dol Guldur itself. But before i do, the citadel must be complete and the walls from our inner ring must be decorated.
