It is the year 3015, and the world has become a barren plain of nuclear waste. Toxic fumes have rendered the once clean oxygen in the atmosphere deadly, so what remains of humanity has retreated to the depths of a massive underground labyrinth called the SoulSafe. The SoulSafe contains many chambers within its halls, in which lie many strange things. This underground vault is secure, but not safe. In one of the chambers, hazmat operatives found a single crack. The size of a mans finger. Toxic ooze seeped from it, and that is when the citizens of the SoulSafe realized that the labyrinth was safe no more. In a wild frenzy of panic and despair, a single madman imprisoned the dwellers of the SoulSafe within its deepest halls. The halls of madness. He holds them hostage, performing various expermients on them. During one of his experiments, a single child escaped the halls of madness. He discovered a fertile paradise deep within the vault. He returned to the crack from which he had escaped, only to find it sealed. Through the grates and bars of the SoulSafe, he preached to the prisoners of the gardens he had found. Meanwhile, through the oozing hole in the top of the Soulsafe, the nuclear waste continued to drip in. As it collected in a puddle in the bottom of the room, it gained sentience. It split. It became not the form of one, but the form of many. All under the same mind. They found the location of the crack from which the young boy crawled, and reopened it. They now lurk in the halls of madness, one more thing to obstruct the prisoners from escape.
TL;DR version: You are in an underground vault imprisoned by a madman. He performs tests on you. If you try and escape, his guards will attack you. There are also strange toxic creatures on the loose trying to kill you.
Rules:
1. No god-mode. Example: The toxic creature tore out the heart of Jim, but he survived.
2. No rapid advancing. Example: At the beginning of the story, Jim seized a metal shard from the floor and stabbed the Test Master in the heart.
3. No crappy RP'ing. Example: I walked forwards. Example 2: I pulled out a gun I had the whole time and shot everybody in the head.
