Welcome to the official topic of The Tatsuyama Games!
Tatsuyama, the empire of the Dragon Mountain,
is a detailed japanese-style world with many unique features and multiple villages.
The empire is located on a huge prison-like island of about 1600x1600 blocks, and offers
tons of quests, multiple PVP arena's, the "Imperial Mines", Farms and more than 100 unique houses.
Each day the "Games" are being played in Tatsuyama,
this happens in one of the many arena's located around the empire.
The concept of Tatsuyama is similar to that of a prison server, but in an open PVP environment.
In order to rank up you have to work in the mines, farms, complete quests, play the arena's and more.
The ultimate goal is achieving the Elite rank and leaving the empire of Tatsuyama as a true PVP elite.
Everywhere in Tatsuyama you will find places where you can work for money.
Some of them are accessible via stargates (portals that bring you to certain places, ie. the mines and farms), others are hidden and harder to find. All of the areas between the public places are PVP zones, so be careful during your journey through the empire of Tatsuyama!
Market
One of the most important places has to be the "Market". Here you can sell everything that you have mined, farmed etc. You can also hire your own shop here, just like you can hire your own house.
Donators have access to a special area of the Market too.
The entire market is a No-PVP zone.
Farms
At the farms you can collect logs from trees, use one of the public spawners (cow, sheep, pig), and you can hire Farms for a fixed price per week to grow your own food. The farms itself are No-PVP, but the areas around it are PVP enabled, so be careful when travelling to the farms!
Imperial Mines
There are a total of 4 Imperial Mines, which each are automatically reset each hour. Higher ranks will be able to access other mines, and collect cobble, coal, iron, lapis and gold. Donators also have access to the Donator Mine, where diamonds can be found. The mines itself are No-PVP, but the areas around the mines are PVP enabled, so be careful.
Villages
All over the empire of Tatsuyama you will find villages with houses for rent. The system is fully automated, so be sure to clear your house before your rent ends. Be careful in the villages, PVP is enabled everywhere and the only protection are the Guards walking around.
Arena's
At this moment there is a total of 3 arena's spread over the empire of Tatsuyama.
It is serious business in the arena's because everyone tries to capture the highest ranking places on the leaderboards. With every server rank that you go up, you will unlock a new PVP arena class, for example the Ninja class for the Ninja rank. Here is a screenshot of the TDM & CTF Leaderboards.
Quests
The fun thing of a journey through the empire of Tatsuyama is that you can combine it with Quests. You will find Quests everywhere and you can earn money with each quest completed, one of the Quest characters that you will see is the "Adventurer", they will help you with finding secret areas. Other than that there are complete families you can complete quests for.
Guest
When you join our server for the first time you will be a Guest. With this rank you can play, but not rank up or /sethome. Guests that are processed in our greylisting system will be come a Member.
Member
To become a member you must have applied on this thread with your IGN, and one of the staff will promote you as soon as possible. Members are able to purchase higher ranks, and set their homes.
Ninja
Price: $ 20,000
Ninja is the first rank that you can buy with the money you earned by working. Ninja unlocks: McMMo, /tpa and /tpahere, Ninja class in the PVP arena's.
Anbu
Price: $ 50,000
You have proofed yourself as Ninja, and are now respected by many in the empire of Tatsuyama.
Anbu unlocks: 2 homes, Factions, Anbu class in the PVP arena's, access to the
Anbu Imperial Mine.
Sage
Price: $ 100,000
Sages are the vets in Tatsuyama, they provide Ninja's with training and tips.
Sage unlocks: 3 homes, Start Auctions, Sage class in the PVP arena's, access to the
Imperial Sage Mine
Elite
Price: $ 250,000
The ultimate goal of every player! You are now free to leave Tatsuyama and can access the wilderness world. Elite unlocks: 4 homes, elite class in the PVP Arena's, FREEDOM
Guard
Guards are there to enforce the rules in the empire of Tatsuyama.
A weapon in your hand is forbidden, if it's seen by a guard you have to give it over or you risk a 5 minute jail. Camping at No-PVP zones or stargates will be punished for as well. To become a guard you must be at least Ninja and have experience as Guard/Police roleplay, apply down here.
Sr. Guard
Senior Guards are experienced guards that have proved themselves during their service in Tatsuyama.
It is recommended not to attack Sr Guards considering they may be very powerful.
Head Guard
The Head Guard's lead the guards and give out orders, they are also responsible for processing the guard applications. This is a very rare position that's given out by an admin once in a while.
Mod
Moderators regulate the chat, answer questions and make sure everyone can enjoy fair play.
Admin
The admin's have the control over the plugins and make sure the server is stable at all times so it keeps on running smooth for everyone.
Owner
The server owner leads the staff team and makes important decisions when required.

In order to become a full member you will need to become greylisted. Apply by replying on this thread with the following information:

The become a guard you have to be Ninja and played on Tatsuyama for at least one week.
If you have experience as Guard/Police roleplay on other servers, your chances will be better to get accepted. Only the best will be accepted, so don't look up when you get rejected.
