The 0.9.0 Update (Pocket Edition) Opinions and Stuff

So as you all know, the 0.9.0 Update for the Minecraft Pocket Edition is out, and this update is something to be talked about, as it completely changes Pocket Edition, you'll see what I mean:
0.9.0 is our biggest update EVER!
Infinite worlds!
Caves!
Loads of new blocks and items including Monster Eggs and huge mushroom blocks.
Wolves! Tame a loyal companion.
Loads of new flowers! So pretty.
New mobs, including the spooky endermen and less spooky Mooshrooms.
New biomes from the PC version, including mesas, jungles, swamps and extreme hills.
Abandoned mineshafts, villages, and many other cool places to explore.
A brand-new “interaction” button. Never accidentally punch a sheep again!
New feature generation, including lakes, vines and monster rooms.
Many bugs fixed, and possibly a few added.

So, basically, its one big step for Pocket Edition, and I'm pretty excited to try it out on my own, and probs make a blog about it later. So tell me what you think, and you opinions on it.
NOTE: If you're only here to say that PE sucks or anything negative, or hate towards the subject, then its better to stay off starting a flame war than being silent.

We had a large map that we put a lot of work into a while back. Then the (.7?) update where the map size was shrunk cut off a lot of the map but its never came back with the current version. Is there any way to recover the sections that were lost due to the small map update version or did that version delete the rest?

Once they add hunger, ill be able to play the game and not get bored

It is the best update yet for PE, but it does have a lot of bugs and glitches that still have to be fixed. Other than that, it is awesome and has made PE so much more fun.

Is anyone getting their battery drained a ton and getting a message about not enough memory or is that just me?

If you check the Twitter feeds for Mojang, you'll see that the recommend fix is to reduce render distance. But MCPE has always drained the battery very quickly.

I think this is the BEST UPDATE in PE history. I was Beta-Testing it so i had enough time getting used to the new features

It's very AWESOME! One complaint is they still need skins. Idk how but they should make them Implemented.

It's opened things up a fair bit with this update. More blocks to use, better builds and endless worlds. Just...really polishing up the game.
Also, new mobs are really going to make the game just that much funner.
The only thing is, it makes things a bit annoying for us texture pack developers. The item sheet was laid out differently and the texture sheet was also adjusted. But, they had to do it. It helps with future additions.
I just want them to work out an official texture pack support system.

The update was a good one. It improved the player's experience in-game.

I think I found a bug with it. I went in a cave and 30 minutes later I found so much iron and gold. 10 minutes later found diamonds...
Another bug (I think) is that ores spawn in too big globs. I can find a group of coal and get quarter of a stack. Or might just be my world.
