Hang out with the 'middle' group, apart from the popular and quiet ones, Just get a small group of friends, like 3-5

All jokes aside you just have to remember that starting high school is like starting fresh. Unless kids from your primary school are also attending your new high school. Anyways, keep the mentality that you can re make yourself, no one really knows who you were, or your mess ups. High school is where you really define who you are, make it worthwhile.

As someone just leaving secondary school in the UK, or as you called it, High school, year 7 can be terrifying. Just don't get under other people's feet, and run for the food hall, as this is what'll get you put in the bins head first. Also, make sure you know where the toilets are, and make at least one friend in the first day- he'll keep you company for the majority of that year!

High school, in the UK? What is this witchcraft?

Not sure if you're moving to the UK, or if you're just not sure what to call secondary school.

As someone who's leaving for sixth form soon, don't be a "stupid little year seven" as the older years would like to call you. Find a group of friends (something I didn't manage until year eight) and stay with them, don't bug the older years and you'll be fine.

No, I'm moving to high, not secondary, their is a diffrence and I already live in UK, never lived anywhere else, I just want tips on what to do.

There is no "high school" in UK. Sure, some go by that name but in some way they come from America, despite following the UK criteria. Lived here all my life, 13 years, almost 14. What I have done:

Got the best I can do and found a few friends. It's the best way to go- become established as the 'smart one' so that people respect your space, and you have friends, and that's always good. Not a single incident of bullying for me.

Do what comes natural. If you try and do the perfect thing and live in constant fear of disapproval like these folks are saying, you'll have no fun at all.

It's a cliche, I know, but just be you.

I wasn't specifically talking about what you said, just responding to the overall feel of all these comments.
