Im having trouble downloading mods. Im trying to download TMI, but all the download sites look like they have viruses on them. Is there a trusted website to download it from? And Do I need a mod downloader? Is there a trusted mod downloader too?

Specifically for TooManyItems, you'll need ModLoader and the actual modification. You can find TMI here, and the downloads there should all be safe. Just don't go clicking anything other than the download. ModLoader can be found here, and the downloads should all be safe there as well. Again, just don't go clicking anything other than the download and you'll be fine.

If on Windows:
*Before this get winRAR or 7ZIP.*

1.Goto start menu.

2.Type %appdata% in search.

3.Click Roaming

4.Open .minecraft

5.Open bin,then open the minecraft.jar with winRAR or 7ZIP.

6.Drag the .class files and tmi.png from the TooManyItems archive or folder into minecraft.jar.

*Do NOT drag the archive or folder in there......only the files inside it.*

If on a different computer like MAC:
I don't know......but you would need 7ZIP on a MAC.
