Tutorial on how to make a server

How to make a server
Hi guys I am Adam and today I will help you create a server. First of all this is does NOT use hamachi. second this is my craftbukkit tutorial not a snapshot .
If you wonder what is snapshot it means not full quality or not the full thing
I will make other tutorials for spigot etc etc.

Please Sub And Diamond If It Helped
part 1. Making sure other people can Join
Before we make the server lets make sure people can join
1. Open cmd
2. enter ipconfig
3. scroll to find Default Gateway (keep cmd open)
4. open your internet browser
5.type up your Default Gateway
6. press games , services or Advanced
7. press port forwarding.
8. in name slot enter anything you want
9 in protocol press TCP
10. go back to ipconfig in cmd and look for your ipv4 address
11.in your browser type in destination ip type your ipv4 address
12 in all other forms type 25565
13. once you added it by pressing add button restart your router.
14 close cmd now
On To creating Your server
(Really simple)
1. download the latest build tools here https://hub.spigotmc.org/jenkins/job/BuildTools/
2.. download and install git here https://git-scm.com/
3.make a new folder call it Buildtools Note this is not you server file
4. cut build tools into the file
5. open notepad or notepad + +
6.copy paste in java -jar BuildTools.jar
7.click save as and in the name slot remove everything in it ecpecially the .txt
8. name is run.sh
9.save it in the file we made earlier
10. double click it and it should run.
11. wait and wait and wait until it installs everything.
12. when its done make a file and call it anything this is the server file
13. then open the buildtools file
14. you will see a jar called craftbukkit 1.8.7
15 rename it to craftbukkit
16. copy paste it into your server file
17 open notepad or notepad ++
18.copy paste this in java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true
19. press save as and rename it to run.bat
20. it should not be a .txt
21 run it. it should take about on miniute.
22. thats your server Done
Please do not criticize thay it was long there are many short tutorials and tutorials on youtube but i want to explain in detail so there are no questions However I will answer your questions If I can.

True, you can set up other things too on your computer for free.

II_DragonKing_IIUh-huh. But see Bemy. Im talking about what if you were to lazy to follow all those steps in your post? So you decide to go host a server that;ll only take a few good clicks. Aternos.org is a decent way to get a free minecraft and be able to build a MInecraft Adventure Map more easily. With other Players


Stop advertising, this is easier.

and by the way aternos dosent give you the advanteges of a server host and also toolkit which i will do a tutorial for is better you only need to keep com on and even if it crashes or stops in anyway it will turn on again

and I do`nt want to need net to cinfigure my server
