Twisted Destiny is a growing Minecraft community which runs on a in-game economy and town system where you can build your own Nation and become the king of it!
The server has over 40 plugins installed for a better user experience and is far from vanilla but stays with the sense that you take from Twisted Destiny what you give back to it.

All players may freely log onto our server. You can go off and explore Twisted Destiny for yourself, just remember that if you need some pocket change for the journey to go ahead and vote for us!
We use Ventrilo for voice communication, this is a great place to get together and plan town projects, get staff support, or just chill out and talk to some of our dedicated members! If you need to install Ventrilo you can download it here.

Twisted Destiny has an amazing town system, at well over 180 towns and 16 nations, Twisted Destiny has developed in a very large gaming community, with over 15,000 active, helpful and friendly community members.

Use /ch recruit qm {message} to ask for a mayor to invite you to his/her town and show you around. You can also use the command /town list to see a list of all of our active towns. You may travel to any of these towns by using /town spawn {town name}, but caution, this command costs 10 dollars to use.

This is a Survival Minecraft Server so you are expected to play on your own with little to no assistance.
No client side modifications, xray texture packs, etc.
If you don't lock your chests using LWC, you understand that your items can be stolen and will not be returned.
In the wilderness you can PvP (and in some towns) and your structures can be destroyed.
You may not speak in excessive profanity, especially directed to other community members.
No drug, sex, or any vulgar references.
No spam or excessive caps in the chat.

Twisted Destiny has an extremely efficient and dedicated staff all the way from our Moderation Staff and to our Administration. The class system of Twisted Destiny is being completely rewritten. There will no longer be heroes, which means no more mana, no more health modifications and no more skills. However, on the bright side you will be able to choose 2 classes, one PvE and one PvP. There is also a much larger selection of classes to choose from, 14 as of now to be exact.
Tier 1 PvE Classes
Tier 1 PvE classes include; Gambler, Mayor and Prospector. Each offers a different set of advantages and all cost $1000 in-game currency to purchase. Some of these classes may seem familiar and include elements from the previous Twisted Destiny server.
Gambler
As the name suggests, the gambler has a gambling addiction and can't resist the slot machines. The slot machines will be located within the "hub" of the new map's spawn. With cool animations and great payouts for getting 3 blocks in a row, how could the gambler resist? However, you will need to vote often to feed your gambling addiction! We will be adding on to this class in the future.
Mayor
As you probably could guess, the mayor class is for those who wish to start a town in the towny world. Only those with this class will be able to start towns, however anyone a mayor appoints as an assistant, mayor or not, will be able to preform assistant duties. The cost to start a town is $1000 in-game currency. Maintaining a large town will be a difficult task, with upkeep at $250/16 plots claimed/day, you will need to vote often to ensure the town will remain alive!
Prospector
The master of gathering, the prospector! The prospector dominates gathering with excavation, herbalism, mining and woodcutting skills apart of McMMO. Rare treasure inside of dirt, gravel, sand and other shovel materials, as well as a giga drill breaker breaking through dirt and other blocks instantly. Double and triple drops while mining, super pickaxe making it a breeze to clear stone large areas.
Tier 2 PvE Classes
Tier 2 PvE classes include; Blacksmith, Enchanter and Trader. Each offers a greater set of advantages and all cost $10000 in-game currency to purchase. Some of these classes may seem familiar and include elements from the previous Twisted Destiny server.
Blacksmith
The blacksmith is the master of forging, able to repair broken down gear and restore it to full durability by using an iron block anvil and some of the material used to craft the gear. Their skill from reforging gear has allowed them to instantly smelt iron & gold ore upon breaking it with a golden pickaxe, cutting out the need to use a furnace to smelt it. We will be adding on to this class in the future.
Enchanter
Able to magically enchant any item without the need of an enchanting table or xp. The enchanter is an ideal pick for those who are looking to make money from enchanting other player's gear and to even give themselves an edge in combat. With the ability to use /enchant at the price of $100 in-game currency per enchantment, this is a very expensive class and will require voting daily. The Enchanter will in fact be released in the initial 1.3 release.
Trader
The mastermind of economics, the trader is able to move and sell items faster than anybody else. They can create auctions at the price of only $10 an auction to move their goods fast throughout the server. Not only that, they can create chest shops at $10 a shop to sell product while offline or not actively marketing. A viable class for anyone looking to control the economy. You'll require funds to start your empire, so voting is a must for the trader.
Tier 1 PvP Classes
Tier 1 PvP classes include; Archer, Mage and Warrior. Each offers an advantage while out in combat and all cost $1000 in-game currency to purchase. Some of these classes may seem familiar and include elements from the previous Twisted Destiny server.
Archer
The long ranged specialist is the Archer. Their arrows have a chance to daze their target, severely hurting their field of view. They also have a chance to ignite their target, setting him/her ablaze. Most of all, their arrows do massive damage to whoever they hit as they increase their level. Through their rigorous escape training, they can jump from far distances and take reduced damage. A skilled archer always brings his bandages (paper) along with him for on-the-go healing.
Mage
Magic is the Mage's expertise. Their drain life spell allows them to sustainable in fights, allowing them to steal life from their enemies and return it back to themselves. If they are ever low on health their heal spell is a great option. However, if all else fails their blink spell will allow them to teleport away from combat. All of their spells require items and are on cool downs.
Thief
The master of mischief, is the Thief. They have the ability to pickpocket their foes stealing a random item from their enemy. They also have the ability to lock-pick chests, having a very small rate of success. This only works within the PvP World. Beware: If you fail pickpocketing an Assassin, Gladiator, Thief or a Warrior they will be alerted of it being pick-pocketed.

If you are looking for raiding and pvp, then our factions world is just for you! The only protection in this world is the factions plugin, which has a power protection, the more you die the less power you have, the less power you have, the higher chance you have of your faction being claimed by another faction. Within a faction the only protected items are wood doors and trap doors, but be careful, assassins can lock pick these! Keep your chests hidden and safe otherwise anyone can access them and steal your items.

No protection against aggressive Mobs, PvP and Griefers in the wilderness, join a town to avoid it.
Always use LWC, use /lwc for more information.
If you don't lock your chests, items can be stolen.
Do not lock chests that don't belong to you.
Do not prevent others from accessing their chest by placing blocks on top.
Do not sit and camp outside of city limits and harass citizens of a town.
Towns are protected and ruled by player Mayors and Assistants and are not controlled by admins.
Small griefing cases should be handled by the town mayor, greifing on a larger scale can be reported and reviewed by admins and moderators.
The Wilderness is subject to PvP and aggressive Mobs so be prepared.

You can not unclaim land to kill someone in your town.

Depending on what world your in, the rules change on this matter. In the Towny world, building in the wilderness is not allowed. You must join a town to do so. In the PVP/Factions world
grief is allowed and encouraged to take down your enemies.
Starting a town---$1,000 dollars
Starting a nation--$10,000 dollars
Claiming blocks---$8 dollars
Town upkeep--- $8/plot claimed/3 days
Nation upkeep--- $16/plot claimed/3 days
So if you have 7 plots in a town claimed you pay $8 for each of those plots, so $56/3 days
Must be Mayor class to start a town.
