Unable to craft anything in creative mode, on a Mac

I'm attempting to make an Ender Chest and its simply not outputting anything! I've tried crafting several things and nothing happens! Help?

I should also point out that the Ender Chest is not in my Item Selection. From what I've read, it should be, right?
