Just to clarify, as I don't think it's ever been stated for one of these contest, are HD skins permitted now that there are people making them?
(for those who don't know, HD Player skins are available through a mod, or just using them as a char.png)

If they're to even be permitted, the only real obstacle would be how to add them.
Long term, I think the most simple solution would be a skins sub-catagory that uses Screenshots instead of the PMC 3d preview.
Short term, would it possible to add the skin without file uploaded, and have the link and screenshot in the description?

it hasn't been stated explicitly, but as one of the rules is a "PLAYABLE" skin, because it requires a mod to use an HD skin, you may not submit one for the contests. Yet.

Because lemme tell you, an HD skin contest would REALLY ROCK. And I'll suggest it.

My only problem with that is that ALL HD skins submitted into the contest (and yes, all HD skins will be by all of the popular / good skinners) will asure them a spot in the finals. It'd be kind of unfair on the normal resolution skins.

that's why an HD-skin ONLY contest would need to be done. It would be a specialist skinning contest, obviously as fewer people skin HD.

I kind of dislike the under the sea contest.
I don't have much ideas for it and i think it's quite bland, actually.

Be creative. You can't win with an uncreative idea. Many people think that the Under the Sea theme is stupid, just because they have no ideas oO

Yep, this contest is *cough* drowned in unoriginal submissions. The only thing I've seen in the entire contest are mermaids, sharks, octopi, dead pirates, goo or seaweed monsters, divers, similar "fish" (not very good for skins. It just doesn't work out.), and... Give me a second...

Well, that's all. There's an occasional (very slightly) original skin such as an underwater shaman or guardian or whatever. Still they're overdone.

There is no originality in this contest. I don't understand if there is a point to this, and I'm very upset with the community for not thinking ahead on how terrible this contest theme would be.

I'm probably not going to enter. There are just no ideas that haven't been overdone, but I'll try and find one. I don't know, this entire contest just is so bad it's just not worth it. If I even enter, it will only be to keep up my "goal" of being a finalist for each contest in a row since the first one I was in... Oh well. PMC is losing its charm anyway. It's only expected for the contest to do so as well.

Agreed.That's why I voted for Cyberpunk. Mine is a shark,but I don't expect a high rank..or the finals.

it's easy to criticize something, but a lot harder to come up with suggestions to make things better. I see a lot of the former, and little of the latter. Maybe THAT's why PMC is losing its charm?
