Greetings,
I have currently built a pc, however I am wondering what I can upgrade next. I have 8gb right now, and I'm thinking about going to 16gb. Will there be any performance difference in game? If so is it a noticeable difference. I currently run vanilla minecraft at 200-300 frames. Shaders (Seus) 50-70 frames.

Is your GPU good enough for the games you play?

Then you should upgrade your GPU. Overclocking might get you an extra 10 FPS tops, but I assume you want more than that.

To answer the OP, your next upgrade should either be in the graphics or storage department. If you don't have an SSD, that's what I'd upgrade first. You can get something like a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO for well under $100. You have a good enough CPU and enough RAM to play modern (even AAA) games, and although the GTX 950 isn't a powerhouse, it's good enough to play modern games on reasonable settings.

Your processor and cpu don't support ddr4 don't waste your money, and about the overclocking you could try msi afterburner. Don't push anything too high, look at some videos and benchmarks online, and don't let the card get any hotter than 85 degrees Centigrade.

"Your processor and cpu" by cpu do you mean gpu since i have a friend from Belgium that calls gpu's cpu's but in general the cpu is the processor.

I meant motherboard and cpu, thanks for the correction, and the system ram has nothing to do with the gpu I was just saying his setup isn't compatible with ddr4.

You would need something better than the stock cooler to overclock.

And you need other motherboards with specific chipsets that support DDR3, DDR4, etc.
Another difference is the way the modules plug in; they still plug in as they have for nearly 2 decades or so, but DDR3 has 240 pins (they're more noticable in the MoBo and not the DIMM's themselves) and DDR4 is 288 pins.

Increasing RAM won't help.
RAM has specs like latency and clock rate that matter.
So increasing size won't help but getting RAM with better specs would.
That PC is enough to run Minecraft for ages to come. Optifine may improve performance. You may wanna check that out.
Overclock you 950. The 950 is a smexy overclocking card. It can take you places.
4430 can't be overclocked.

Thanks for your reply,
I never knew there was a difference with ram besides ddr3 and ddr4, etc Ram is something I am not entirely familiar with.

Like, I don't understand how or which core voltage to set it at or gpu clock, mem clock, voltage etc...
