Ways to reduce Command Block Lag?
Ok, so my friend runs a server, and it has serperior lag due to command blocks. I was wondering if there are any methods to reduce command block lag, because it could be really useful rn.

Either make it so that they don't track output or if you really want them to track output (for some reason) make sure there are never more than 63 commandblocks in one chunk. 63 or less commandblocks in one chunk will just send block updates (these are pretty small), but if you go over 64 it will start sending chunk updates (these are bigger).

turn off output in them

the less blue repeating command blocks the better. You can sometimes avoid using those by putting unconditional chain command blocks after the initial repeating. Other than that, I would have to see what you're doing in order to optimize it better, and even then, there may not be much to do.

Try not to use @e with players; because it checks all the entities even if it has selectors.
Otherwise none that I'm aware of.
