My favorite anime right now, ever, is Eureka Seven. It is a Mecha, Romance, Fighting anime. The Romance part is NOT a tacked on sub-plot, but is very well a VERY big influence on the series itself. The mecha is not stupidly over done, but very polished and nice. It starts out like all other anime, introducing the character, getting to know him, but after the first episode, it kicks off incredibly fast. It is VERY humurous at some points, but is a very emotional series. This series was well though off, although the ending was a bit rushed, but that was due to the lack of viewers. It needs WAY more exposure then it had.

I am currently watching the sequel, Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean, and I will be keeping tabs on that as well. It is only on it's 10th episode, so I don't have very many thoughts about it just yet.

I'm a die-hard seinen horror anime fan. So my favorites are NSFW...

My favorite has to be 'Higurashi no naku koro ni'. It mixes horror and humor SO WELL. and it's just got a great storyline, if not a tiny bit too complicated
