What is a powerful laptop?
Hello everyone, I am looking for a powerful laptop. Before you say anything in reply, DO NOT say anything about a desktop. I have one. I am looking for one for about 900$. It would be nice to have one lower, I'm looking to be playing some games on it for traveling, and it, if possible, can play some modern games at least 30 fps. Thanks, see you next time.

I use a Samsung ATIV Book 8 Laptop. It may be very pricey, but it is very powerful.
Some great features include:
Intel i7 Processor(Newest)
1 TB Hard Drive(A lot)
Windows 8(May suck, but not yet...)
Touchscreen(Makes Windows 8 Not suck
AMD Radeon HD Graphics(sweet)
Great Battery Life(Yay)
15.6 inch Screen(Huge)...
I could go on forever... The price: A hefty $1200. But it is worth it as I love it. Super portable.

I understand the topic, but I really don't see the need for a gaming laptop. If you get a laptop I would just use it for school/work. I reccommend getting a Chromebook, as their fast, and have a lot of benefits.

I always do my work, but my old laptop died, might I say was only $200, and I did hardly any gaming on it, so now I'm just looking for one that might last a while. It doesn't necessarily need to be a gaming laptop, just a powerful one lol

"Powerful" laptops tend to have a really short lifespan in comparison with desktops. This is why people prefer desktops.

"DO NOT say anything about a desktop. I have one" do you read the forum post or just the title?
