Now, ever since toys have existed, someone has ripped them off. This is called a knockoff toy.
Personally, I believe that Rocking Elmo is the worst. It encoraged toddlers to 'crap their hands', as seen here:

I went to Party City and I can't tell if all of what they have are officially licensed products. One aisle had nothing but Pokemon stuff that looks real like birthday hats, cups, plates, etc. The thing that stood out to me was that they had a small orange and white hat and it was plastic, not even fabric. I don't even think a 5 year old could wear it. It felt like a slap in the face to Pokemon fans and ever since I questioned if it was real merchandise or not. Another one was a game, I forget the exact details but I never saw it at Wal-Mart but I'm gonna say it's knock-off.
