I agrre with sakurafluff, and also, maybe just maybe have diamonds give a glow. you know iferrent tools have different lightin radius? like glowstone has the biggest? well, diamonds only have 1 torches have 5. glowstone hase 15 redstone torches have 2

I like nayvin's idea. It'd be nice if they'd give off a faint blue glow...

Also, I'm pretty sure pink sheep don't spawn you have to dye them or make a pink sheep have a baby.

iron blocks work as anvils but deplete like cake too not be overpowered

Birds, monkeys, and other tree/sky mobs

All I want is for grass color and foliage color to go back to the old system. It used to blend a lot better back then, rather than now having such strict borders in the biomes. Sadly my wish will probably never come true...

Scuba helmets and underwater cave systems, coral reefs

@BigBadGod I agree like it could let u breath under water untill u ran out of air in ur tank then u had to hold ur breath like normal and reefs and see able fish

I would say just small convinient things like redstone that goes up walls, better mob ai, maybe a few more ores that could be used to make tools.
Those are things that should be added.
These are things that could be added:
Reinforced tools, like if you had an Iron pick and only 1 diamond you could put the pick and diamond in a crafting table and it would reinforce it and restore its durability.
Bandits that live in random places and have armour and tools to fight you with and also chests inside their houses (like Millenaire)
More mobs because their are only like 5 common hostile mobs and 5 passive mobs (not exact) The addition of more would make having animal farms a lot more fun.
An automated animal breeder! Don't know how they'd do it but it would be so much easier than risking letting all the animals out
