Assuming I live by myself, just so I don't have to account for family members..

1) Barricade both the front and the back door with all the furniture I could find, buying me some time.

2) Clean the bath and run it until it's full of water.

3) Do the same with empty plastic bottles.

4) Grab my crowbar (Yes I have a crowbar in case anything happens when my parents are out of town) and have it at hand.

5) Destroy most of the stairs, but have it so I can (with a little effort) go up and down them.

6) Plug in earbuds and read the zombie survival guide, try and reach friends/authorities via internet or cell phone.

7) Pray for mercy.

Well I live in the UK where guns aren't as easy to get and since I'm not Frank West I doubt I can kill a hoard of zombies with a bottle of shampoo and a pocket watch so I'm kinda limited to how I defend myself but I suppose I'd grab something from a DYI shop.

And I live close to a large port so I'd try get myself and whoever's with me on a boat with whatever supplies we had and...play minecraft until the zombies starve or we get rescued or something.

well i would use that port to go to a island where no zombies are and camp there. 'cause honestly, how far can they swim? and also play minecraft or call all the terrists in the world to blow them all up.

I would take my Katana and cut as many Zombies down until I fell. It is the honorable way to go.

Well, since I am in the RAF Air Cadets, I'd go to my Squadron Base, and pick up a few guns and equipment. Next I would probably hi-jack a Truck that is around the Base.

After all that, I'd drive around my Neighborhood and see if there are any survivors. Then I'd go to the nearest shop I can find and pick up some food and water.

As I live near a fairly big hill, I'd go to the top of that and create a shelter, and try to secure off the area. If this fails, I'd simply go back to the Squadron Base and stay there, as it is guarded by metal fences and barbed wire.

I'd get on the biggest cruise ship ever because zombies can't swim.

Travel to the Arctic and hide there for 4.5 Years

Go to my handy dandy fallout shelter and stare at JFK's portrait while sipping on some scotch.
