What's Wrong With My Redstone Cannon?
So I created this cannon following the instructions from the redstone handbook, yet it's not working. The problem is that the repeaters leading to the final dispenser don't get powered, I don't know how to fix it. Any help?

Like one of the other people said snapshot?

But it still explodes mid-air in the video.
Also, do you maybe know how to make it go not as far?
1. Make the delay longer.
2. Use less TNT.

Works perfectly fine for me.

Look for a dirt path near the spawn. It should lead you to my kingdom.

are you on a server? they might have tnt explosions off
1
No, I'm on my normal singleplayer world.
1
Could you upload this world somewhere so we can take a look at the issue ourselves?
1
Sure, trying to do that now. Just hard to find a free place where you can upload 400MB.

Any cloud storage solution will work. Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.

the top repeater is facing the right not the left and the right most one is on one tick not four ticks like the rest. this is your issue.
1
The top one is facing left, and I tried changing the tick on the right one, however nothing changed. It acts just like before: it fire the TNT which then despawns.

@rupert if its powered form where i think its from (should be unless the spot they say isnt powered isnt the spot its not powered at) it should be lag so it doesnt show as powered even if it is and the repeaters directions should still get there but theneed to put dust at the end stone spot or on top of it if they mean the clock and after
1
I have no lag on my world.
1
umm the repeaters are backwards first off....

guestdsavronaSounds like a sever configuration thing.
It's not on my server. It's on my normal survival world.
it might be going out of range to see it but it still explodes or its hitting water and not explodes
nah, its the clock that's the issue, everything else should be good

the redstone clocks repeaters are not facing the right way, and so they are not carrying the power.
plus there not all set on the same amount of ticks

The power transmission has been sorted now. Look on p.1. There is another issue.

It's not exloding, just despawning.

If it's exploding mid-air before reaching your target, your repeaters need more delay.

Oh, so that's how you did it. The handbook told me to put a sticky piston under where you placed you button for some reason.
I just deleted the piston and the block above it, added some redstone on top of a new end stone brick I placed there and it works fine now. Except for one thing:
The cannon fires the tnt so far, it despawns before it hits anything.
All my repeaters are already set to 1 tick.

Works fine for me. Is this all your cannon is supposed to do?

Works fine for me. Is this all your cannon is supposed to do?
(Ignore the enhanced TNT; that's just a part of my server.)

I'm talking about the redstone powering that block that's on top of the sticky piston. Right now it's directed away from the block and won't actually power it.
1
If so that's your problem, the redstone powering that line redirects it away from the loop, stopping it from ever getting power. If that is the problem, you can solve it my just placing a piece of redstone on top of the lighter block behind the two repeaters (Is that end stone? I don't actually know :/)
Which block do you mean? The entire cannon is made of end stone bricks so I'm not sure what block you are on about.
Also it's kind of hard to see but there is a sticky piston right under that end stone brick sticking out, the one closest to where I took the screenshot from.

Is the repeater loop at the back supposed to get its power from the redstone line on the side dispensers? If so that's your problem, the redstone powering that line redirects it away from the loop, stopping it from ever getting power. If that is the problem, you can solve it my just placing a piece of redstone on top of the lighter block behind the two repeaters (Is that end stone? I don't actually know :/) or moving the cobblestone line over one so that it goes up the second dispenser rather than the one right next to the loop. That way the redstone powering the loop will go directly into the block, powering it and actually letting your circuit work.

It looks like your playing on a snapshot, it might be a bug. Try reporting it to mojang?

I'm not an expert in redstone but for me it just looks like there is nothing that the repeater strech can get power from, which is strange as it's the same as in the handbook.
