So as most of you may know, CraftBukkit has had some major issues. It is basically dead now. There's a new replacement called Sponge Powered! I don't know much about it, but it's got some of the top developers making it, including the devs who made World Edit! Please comment below on if you think this will be better, and why.

Sponge is the best option we have and unfortunately, Spigot comes under the same legal grey area as Bukkit because it uses Minecraft server source code.

You bump again, I'm reporting. Also, you can just use Spigot, which supports all the Bukkit plugins.

1. Don't publicly try and cause a flame war by stating you are going to report someone for breaking the rules.

I think it's gonna be one of the better ones coming up. But Glowstone is looking good to mostly because it supports bukkit plugins.
Sponge is being developed by ForgeDevs, some BukkitDevs, WorldEdit Devs. So I think I have more faith in Sponge than Glowstone but only time will tell...
I'm just really intreasted ito see how different the Sponge Plugin API (if and hopefully there is one) will be from the Bukkit Plugin API.
