What do you want to see?
This March I started a YouTube Channel and I need lots of advice and help, here is my list of what I would like some replies about after you check out https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCSWznKkL3JeHB_xOlaQQ0Cw, which is my channel.
-Do I need better Channel Art and if so where can I get some or how do I make it?
-I need an Avatar for my channel but I don't want it to be my Minecraft skin instead I want it to look the same as my Minecraft skin but as a cartoon figure and not pixelated, so how do I find someone who can make it?
-What are some main things that need fixing on my channel?
-How can I improve my content?
-What games do you have a hard time finding videos on that you would like to see?
-How can I get a bigger audience on my channel?
Leave any other suggestions in the comments also because I will read it all and it is a great help. If you watch my videos and like then then please comment, like, and best of all subscribe!
Thanks for your time!

Any more advice?

I messed around with making an avatar it turned out pretty good.
1
Never mind about having the avatar, turns out it isn't looking how I want so Ill put a request in the shop.
1
I already have one but thanks for the offer.
1
I can do your avatar, just gimme some details
1
Any more advice is welcome and from anybody.

I was planning on the channel mainly being about Minecraft.
1
I didn't mean two channels I meant my channel will mainly be Minecraft but then I would also do other side topics on the same channel.
1
There is no point in having two channels
You aren't that popular, you need like a million subscribers at least before you can start a second channel. You want all of your followers to funnel into one account at first until you build up subs

What if I just had a Minecraft based channel with other games as sub topics?
1
It's called TheEnderEnchanters it's not ready yet though.
1
No offense dude but that's a pretty garbage name.
GeneralMonk is good because it's unique and allows for stuff other than minecraft, but TheEnderEnchanters is extremely generic and limits you to only Minecraft so no room for expansion

Yeah on announcement is that I have decided to create a new channel but it may take me awhile to get it going.
1
I just checked out your recent videos, they're much better than they were before
Good luck man! I think you've improved most of the stuff you could, the rest just comes with time and experience. Posting so often like you do is VERY helpful, just make sure you keep it consistent

Does anyone else have advice?
1
Just got and set up OBS and Audacity so hopefully that will help some.

For a beginner, the video editors DaVinci Resolve 12.5 and Lightworks are a bit too complex, but once you get going (after about a year or two) then I'd switch over

That's the problem I like to do all of them. I haven't actually uploaded a time lapse because I had a problem with my recording software cutting out big chunks occasionally.

If you care about that you won't be successful. Do what YOU want to make, not what others want to make
1
Is there any type of Minecraft video that does better than others? (Tutorial, Let's Play, Timelapse, etc)
1
Ok, I will try doing that next video?

Most people are saying that unless you can get a professional to make you an intro then just welcome them so that's what I'll do for know.
P.S. Never liked my intro anyway. I've been trying to make a good one.

No. Not even a professional one. No offense but your content is FAR from professional, and having a good intro will make it seem like your video/audio quality is gonna be just as good, and a sudden drop in quality from the intro to video will fend people off.
Intros are good for companies, talk shows, and list stuff sometimes.
If you're gonna be gaming, you want to interact with your viewers. You'll see the most popular gaming youtubers act like they're talking to you instead of at you. You need to have that same attitude, the intro can distance you from them.

How many people think a intro is better than introducing yourself with a nice warm welcome?
1
It differs on what the subject is. If it is something like a talk show or a podcast then a intro can be better because it sets a mood. One intro I really enjoyed is the "Rambling With Sips" intro because it was simple enough that it worked. It was just 5 seconds of the thumbnail but the song made up for it since it was a edit of him made into a song that just felt very welcoming. If you're doing a commentary then a intro is just useless and doesn't have an effect on the mood. It's just an annoyance whilst a the commentator welcoming me has more of an effect on the mood.
1
Ok I'll look into that one.
1
Yeah, it's free and easy to use, if you need tutorials there are a ton on youtube
1
The YouTube Editor online. I know there's text on that but whenever I use it it puts the same text in for the entire video.
1
That's pretty bad.. Consider getting a free/cheap one that you can download, windows movie maker is what I would recommend for starting. People claim it's bad but there are huge youtubers (boogie2988, and more) which use it and are very successful.
1
do you use any editing software?
1
I want to add text in some of my videos but I'm not sure how to do it?
1
What are you using?
1
Ok, great advice!

I'm just now watching your Lets Play Survival Ep 1, only 3 minutes in and 1st thing I'm noticing (especially with my head set on) is your keyboard. I can hear every click you make. Not sure if you can edit that out in future episodes or get better seperation from your keyboard and mic, but I can see that becoming irritable to some viewers as each episode passes.

Thanks A lot!

Don't use that intro. Don't use any intros. Most of the big gaming channels don't use intros, instead they speak. This feels more welcoming and establishes a connection between the viewer and the youtuber.
You need to speak louder, and make sure your auto quality is as good as it can be. I clicked a random video, and not trying to be rude, but the audio quality is CRAP. It's extremely choppy. Of course, obviously not all of them are like this but remember AUDIO OVER VIDEO. If you have good audio people will watch, no one wants to watch a silent/choppy sounding video though.
Obviously it won't be great at first, but make sure you download audacity and get your audio straight from that, instead of whatever your game recording software uses. You can edit the audio to sound clearer, and generally better. As you continue on youtube you'll get better at commentary, but try to sound more confident and less monotonous. Compared to most starting off youtubers, you're doing a great job.

How can I have better looking descriptions for each video?
1
Any more specific advice?
1
Thanks!
1
Edit your videos and make them stand out. It's a long shot but it works well for me.
1
Just use those weird thumbnails like CaptainSparklez does and you'll be fine
1
I'd put variety in your content. If you make just Minecraft content try some mini games, adventure maps, etc. Other than that I'd say enjoy it. I wish you the best of luck.

I really need some advice so please check my channel out!
