Why is new PC being so slow?
I recently got a New PC with APU A4-6300 proccessor and AMD 8370D Graphics card.
This is waht I expexted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93wd0F-djHE
But for my pc, I cant record but, I get only 30 fps with a fps boosting texture pack, optifine, all partical effects and stuff turned off, and graphics on minimum settings.
HELP. I have windwos 8.1,
and full screen and windowed dont make a difference
i have 1tb hard drive and 8 gigs ram too.

I have 2.20GHZ 2 core Intel I2 cpu
ATI Radeon HD Mobility 4500 Series GPU
4GB ram
280gb SDD
Windows 7 SP1
and i get 40FPS with Sonic Ether's Ultra Shader's on fullscreen Vanilla
---
Here's some things you can do
Check if your running the java Specified for your OS
64bit-JAVA for 64bit computers 32bit-JAVA for 32 bit computers.
also Check the internet for updated drivers on your hardware.
if none of that works your could benchmark your pc and check whats bottlenecking whatever.
You could also upgrade to windows 10 from your windows 8 for free if that offer still exists. Windows 10 has a lot of performance perks over 8.1 just make sure to disable Windows Defender in the registry to fix some random CPU spikes.

No, you are lying or trolling.
1
He probably isn't.
People just underestimate what some computers can do. Like everybody exaggerates.
Why would people actually lie? Like I just don't understand why you think someone is just like "Hey, I'm going to lie" like it doesn't make them cooler so I don't think they're lying.

I adore how you avoided the troll part of that.
1
It's probably not a troll. Why would someone troll? It doesn't make sense for someone to troll on this thread. Trolling would be like "I HAVE 2MB OF RAM AND WINDOWS XP I GET 5,000,000FPS"
1
now yuo see there young grasshopper, niether of those are possible today, no one get 2mb of ram today and no computer can even get 1% of the fps mentioned

he was also on lowest settings in a skywars world xD, i could easily get 1200fps in the same scenario
edit: maybe trees were on fancy

I have Intel i7-4790k 4.0GHz
24 gigs of ram( having 6 gigs dedicated to minecraft is pointless)
4gig Nvidia GTX 970 ssc( You need to upgrade yo card)
3HHD's totaling 4 TB

im trying to figure out why any 1 would would try to play minecraft with an APU let alone a duel core 1 with an IGPU and expect to record with it? and unless your trying to run a modpack more than 2gb ram is kinda a waste, also thats terrible specs for pretty much anything other than web browsing, i recomend trying to go for an intel chip with a sub $200 gpu
1
star weaver is right no way should this apu be even allowed to do what your making it do its dirt cheap the gpu is even more cheaper and your ram is lacking your motherboard is probly the cheapest of the shelf my guess is you got this pc from harvey norman wouldent suprise me if so quick return it and get your 800$ and make your own XD my grandmas pc is faster ands its old....

You need to dedicate more RAM to Minecraft via the launcher.
No :/
Yes :/
No :/ Sorry, but that's just wrong. More RAM won't reduce lag, if anything increase it by restricting RAM from other tasks.
1
Have you installed your graphics card driver properly, the PC could just be running on in-built graphics...

He's right, that won't really help anything. After 3-4 gigs of ram, Minecraft doesn't benefit from it anymore, adn the benefit is gets from adding more is very minor in the first place.

...um.. I think you answered your question.
so... what was the point of this post again?

If you intend get a cheap computer for temporary use then dump it onto someone else, I'd recommend any celeron/pentium/APU cpu for the base of the laptop. they are notorious for being horrendously slow. If you got one and actually expect it to run decently then... some salesmen got you Good LOL

halorules555 has just given you a fake website to supposedly give you more ram....
ram is not software its hardware nothing a application can do will increase your ram how much did you buy it for? how long have you had it can you take it back? if so get something from another store as you probly got it from a harvynormal or joicemain if so any other place even computer repairs will be able to get you a better computer nothing you can do is going to take the fm2+ socket out of the picture you as i said before need to ethier replace the intire pc or replace the apu with a amd a8 or higher and another 4GB of ram your gpu will be fine for mc as the amd a8 or above have the r7 series gpu,s so before you buy a new graphics card buy more ram first! as you will see a big diffrence when you add ram also make sure your ram is 1333 or higher or your pc will lag when doing graphics tasks becouse of trying to render from the apu with the ram.
sorry for my eng its been a while since i explaned non nerdys stuff to non nerds

I highly doubt that his computer can't handle it.
My old computer has way worse specs and used to handle shaders at around 50FPS
I don't know the problem exactly... try allocating more RAM?
Downgrade to Windows 7 (You don't have to, but for some reason it helped me with some things)
Put 'Max Framerate' on unlimited and don't turn on VSync
Smaller GUI = little FPS change
Try reinstalling Windows. I had a problem where I got Windows on a new computer and it ran really slow. I didn't know why but when I re-installed Windows it suddenly became much faster.
I don't know what else to do. Do you mind posting your full computer specs?

Yeah, no his computer can't handle it. And with worse specs you did not run at 50fps. A 4440/270x runs it at around 40fps on average. And that's a higher range build.
1
What were your old computers specs? And no, this apu won't handle shaders well.

It was a laptop and ran shaders at around 50fps average.
It was a laptop and ran shaders at around 50fps average.
1
And that's incorrect, because I've had a laptop with the exact same A8-5545M, and it did not run shaders at 50fps. More like 15.
1
Obviously you're doing something wrong then. You might have the same A8-5545M, but probably not the same specs. I had upgraded it to 8GB of RAM.
I had optifine on pretty good settings and could run SUES at about 30FPS and Minecloud shaders ( http://minecraft-modi.ru/uploads/posts/ ... ders-9.jpg ) would run about 50 on average.

1
No, he isn't doing something wrong, and the RAM really doesn't really matter. Shaders is all GPU based really. That computer can barely run minecraft at 50 fps. I know there is no way you ran shaders at 30. Especially since I have an i7-4970k, 24 gigs of ram, and a gtx 970 ssc and normally get 200 fps and with shaders I get maybe 60. So I just know you are lying.

you probely have a virus or something spyware idk

I doubt it, he just got the pc
1
Your graphics are definitely not up to spec to run shaders, but you should be able to play normally. Your graphics... well they're very low end integrated graphics. I highly suggest getting a dedicated GPU such as a R7 260x, it isn't amazing and you won't be playing with shaders on full settings but it will do a hell of a lot better than your current set up.
Also what speed is your RAM at because that can have a slight effect on APU graphics performance

Pretty glorious specs. Your specs are bad and outdated.
1
also you have one of the lowest most cheapest cpu on the market today its not going anyway soon and you should ethier rage buy a new apu fm2+ or look into extreme overclocking thats all your choices
1
simplez apu recoding of the cpu not the gpu a apu is a 45% cpu 55% gpu you are experianceing bottle necking from the cpu also your new pc is probly not much of a approvement i have the a8 with that i fly but thats like 100$ more of a apu so yer anyway your cpu is the probblem why your rendering off the cpu not the gpu look into vce for obs
