Is Minecraft ever going to die?

Yeah probably, every game has its peak and I think minecraft is on that peak right now. And there are rumours of Minecraft 2 so most people would play that when and if it came out.

There will not be a Minecraft 2. I can say that now. Minecraft will keep adding and adding and adding until nothing can be added. Thats when it will die down.

I doubt there will ever be a minecraft 2, I can't see the point as for minecraft. As for it dying, maybe, maybe not. I honestly think it will go down in video game history, like Mario, or Tetris.

Yeah. What other examples are there of indie games getting this big? This will go down in video gaming history, without a doubt.

But, it will die. It's not funded by big orginisations like Nintendo (That made Mario) so they're not looking to squeese money out of us, I think Mojang just want to make a great, all-round game. And they did.

It'll never die, there will always be fans playing it even if it does die down in popularity

If they stop adding/removing, tons of new mods will be made and keep the revolution going. Even if they run out of significant things to add, they could add more ores, more mobs, etc. Plus we all know that someone would want to take over.

Yeah, eventually people will stray from the game, but it will always have us, the hardcore fans.
