Willing to rent out a server on my spare desktop
Hey guys, not gonna make a long thread but it should be pretty self explanatory.
I have a spare desktop with 4GB DDR3 and a 2.0 GhZ Pentium that I'm willing to use as a dedicated machine for someones server. I pay for around 100 Mbps per month, and I'd devote around 35-40 Mbps to the machine if necessary.
Im using Time Warner, on a Los angeles node. Ping for my personal use is around 5 Ms or less.
Bottom line, I'm gonna be renting out my desktop that can probably handle a 30 player or so server. I'd be willing to do it for around $12 a month, or $10. Honestly it doesn't really cost me much besides the bandwidth restrictions, so I am more than willing to give a three day test run.
It would take a couple hours of consulting with my friend Mike to setup a fedora cockpit on the server, but eventually it will get it done.
In you are interested, let me know here, or more formally, contact me via. my email at kanaayarahuan@ (gmail) .com
Cheers
