I need some help with WinRar,

Problem:I cant open files in winrar files for some odd reason,I play a game called ace of spades,I use custom skins and the makers use rar files to put the files for the gun in,I need to open files in the rar because thats what they do,Please help?

I would probably try using 7zip. It's open-source and I haven't heard of many issues with it compared to winrar.
