1.11 World to 1.10.2?
I accidentally switched my world to 1.11 and I need it to be 1.10.2! Is there any way I can switch it back? I loved the world and worked so hard on it! Please help!

I have a backup world just in case, but for now it seems fine. Thanks Everybody!

Make a backup before trying to load it with 1.10.2.
If it works properly, great!
If it fails and the world turns out to be corrupted, load the backup you made in 1.11 and get the seed using /seed. Now go back to 1.10.2 and make a new world with that same seed, which means the terrain generation is the same as your own world (that got corrupted). Using MCEdit, you can now copy and paste your stuff from the backup world to the newly generated world.

What? You do realize that in 1.11 all it adds is newly generated dungeons, mobs and a few blocks. Your world should be perfectly fine

I guess it will be. But will the world "corrupt" if I've placed nothing in 1.11? I don't think it would.

I tried this once when I accidentally converted a 1.10.2 world to 1.11. Structurally it will be fine, but from what I could tell, all of the currently spawned entities were removed. (Villagers, mobs, item frames, etc). Chests were emptied, and all of my signs were wiped clean. Thankfully I had a backup save of the world.
There's probably more that I missed too. I don't recommend doing it.
