Also, it's ludicrous to think that we're the only ones out there. The universe is HUGE. If it's happened once, it can happen again.

It must be other life in the Universe.

There's always the possibility we're not alone in this universe, or any other for that matter.

first things first the spelling is galaxies and I say yes We cannot be the only sentient beings out there. Though they may not look the same as us, it is purely luck we evolved to our current state.

According to the drake equation, there must be at least 15 other sentient races in our galaxy, so, just by common sense, yes there is.
