Do you have a slow computer?

If you want to make your Minecraft faster Subscribe me and wait until my Texture Pack Quickcraft is done. <-- That was a long time ago I wrote. I thought Texture Packs could give less lag, but then I realized they could not. But go and check it out, it's nice and smooth. You can grab it here: http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_ ... -(mc-1.3.2 )/

Texture packs cannot give less lag.

Every 16x pack gives the same amount of lag, whether it's painterly or "fast"craft.

i think he's making a 1x1 texture pack, the problem is, it makes no difference, you'll only get slight lag using an HD texture pack

They make it faster while rendering, but only if they actually ARE 1x1 textures.

1x doesn't matter, even though everything is one color MC still sees it as 16x

How does it work then? Are smooth texture packs a placebo? (<<legit question, I'm totally lost)

Even if its 1 single colour its still a 16x16 block that needs to be rendered, it won't give you any noticeable performance boost.

If your computer is a bitch get optifine, gamebooster or whatever. Look it up there are plenty of ways to fix lag. Texture packs will have little to no difference don't waste your time. This guy is sub whoring and I don't like that one bit.
