*Important! Please Read: 
MrArcane111 is saying goodbye to this mod because of the hassle it is to update. But don't fret, he is still going to update all the rest of his mods! This mod I am giving to papertazer for its future development. If you have any questions or comments concerning this mod, DO NOT post them here—they will be ignored! Papertazer is a good development friend of mine, so I know this mod is in good hands. The next update of MineEssentials will include my Magnet Chest as well, so be sure to keep an eye out for it! So without further adieu, this post is effectively: DEAD!

Info! Please Read!

You know, I was planning on discontinuing this mod, but after much consideration, I have planned on rebooting it! Our DAMD team artist, wierdude1999, has been working on new textures for the next update. I will also be removing items (and adding more) to go along with the "essentials" theme. Please wait patiently! I have a lot on my plate right now, but I promise this will get done! Just keep giving me your awesome support! Bye!

=== Introduction ===

There are just certain things that you can't do without in Minecraft.  Especially when you're mining.  I have tried to create the best mod that solves that problem.  This mod adds many new items to the game, all of which, are essential!

*Please read this whole post in order to gather all the information you need!*

=== Descriptions ===

1. Fall Boots: Negates fall-damage entirely

2. Sugar Lump: A new food source that heals hearts

3. Accelerator: Moves things at incredibly high speeds

4. Bouncing Betty: Makes every entity explode (except the player!) and it does no environmental or item damage

5. Particle Gun: Sprays a variety of different particles (it just for kicks and giggles!)

6. Holy Hand Grenade: A throwable explosive (will stick to mobs if thrown correctly!)

7. Portable Workbench: A handy tool when venturing far from home

8. Power Staff: Red-mode: pushes blocks, Blue-mode: pulls blocks (press control on your  keyboard and then right click to switch modes!)

9. Rifle + Ammo: It does exactly what it sounds like—blow those creeper guts to smithereens!

10. Telescope: You don't need a brain to figure this out—right click to zoom in on your next prey!

11. Flashlight: Right click to shine a light when exploring in the deeps without your torch!

12. Grappling Hook: Right click to throw—land it on top of a block, and a rope will drop down to allow you to climb up!

13. Lightning Rod: Right click to control the almighty power of lightning!  You're ZEUS!

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I'd like to point out that this is definitely more of a mod pack, and not a standalone. For example, sugar lump comes from mo' creatures: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Mods/Mo'_Creatures. Grappling hook comes from Ropes+ Mod: 
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/461879-ropes/. I agree with the previous comment on the power staff, and there are a few others I see that are not originals. Not going to report it or anything, I'd just like to see this as a mod PACK in the future. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, but the power staff was a discontinued mod by peronix. He released the source so it's fine. As for the sugar lump / grappling hook, I just used their textures. I already have a guy working on new ones. Thanks, MrXminister.
