This mod allows you to melt iron and gold, then mix them with certain tools to make them better.
1.Install Modloader
2. Delete META INf
3. Install my mod into the .jar
4.Play!

I think we should be able to use diamond, too. Maybe add sharded diamond ore? When mined, you get a diamond shard, which can be used to tip tools.

Well because minecraft just updated to 1.4.6, I'll try to figure out if my mod will work with forge.
