Versions below 10.12.1.1060 are not recommended.
Versions above 10.12.1.1060 still work but may cause bugs (report to me any)

This works with 1.7.10 ONLY if you are lucky.

I have tried to run my Minecraft 7 times and 1 of 7 times the game worked until it crashed from NullPointerException.
This will be fixed in the late future, somewhere in September.
If 1.8 is released, I will switch gears to a 1.8 update which should take little time. :)

The Inferior Sword is a sword that gradually gets stronger and stronger every kill.  The maximum kills you can get (that stacks bonus damage) is 1000. Every 10 kills grants 1 damage (1 heart). Up to a maximum bonus of 100 damage. The base damage is 2, which makes the maximum damage dealt 102.

Fury Strike Patch | Vacation : 02/26/2015 6:05:17 pm2/26/15

I haven't had enough time to fix other bugs on other mods, but this is the first thing I pulled up on my IDE.
This is because I'm on vacation, hallelujah, sorry for not being here, but I'll be back soon!

Fury Strike default is now set to false, and will ask you if you want to change it.
But.. WHY?!??!
Fury Strike is still an area where improvements can be processed so I decided to implement this, as Fury Strike is still very new and sometimes incompatible.

I've also included a new file into my integrated server:

This is the location where Fury Strike implemented data will go if I require any more updates.
Example of a .PYLPCH code.

It automatically alters the area and if the code is outofbounds within 100 through 150 it will result in an error and it will not establish correctly. Instead of termination, it forces it to run outside of the boundary with safe-mode confinements. If the accessed area is STATIC however, it will fail to run. 
You can choose between STATIC and DYNAMIC.
Authors if you wish to use this, it could also work has a .PATCH file for Forge to run, this is my way of doing so and is not entirely functional in an advanced way.

Fury Strike configuration is now permanent and no longer in testing zone.
However, you may need to check the SOI.cfg folder in cfg or forge/cfg in order to change it.

I'll post an update on path as it is different for different computers :)

Fury Strike default is no longer false it is changed to true.

Fury Strike Additions : 01/24/2015 1:11:09 am1/24/15

Fury Strike configuration now uses an integer and a boolean.

The boolean states whether Fury Strike is enabled or not.
You can either set it as true or false.
With true enabling it.
With false disabling it.

This is mainly for test reasons, but people wanted me to add this, too! xD

For entireity, these new files help the Anvil do what it does.
I had to bring the DLServer offline which a few of you may have noticed to change these main files.
These files once again help the AnvilNBTAnchor load from last patch (nbtanchor.pyl).
I realized it was incomplete because of these files missing.
(nbtnachor.pyl) is dependent and only runs if isAnvilLoaded.bln turns true which also I forgot.
These files have been revamped and patched to run with the new server and in addition all the necessary files are now gathered from my alternative old server to this new server.

I have put the server offline in attempt to fix the generation of NBT codes.
I have removed the tags from your items already, NBT stacks/status should stay.

I have put the server offline for now as I fix things up for the NBT Translator Beta program.
The Server automatically accesses things that I currently don't want to touch or mess up so I put it offline.
I am currently also doing some constructive maintenance to ensure the quality of flow in the mod flunctuation methods which span over the entire web of my mods.

We all make mistakes. :)


SOI Periodic Table is now disabled because of my goof-up.
I need to reset ALL generated tags in current items, which means, I need to wipe off all NBT data.
Not to worry! Before I hand this out I will test and test, because I will be adding an AnvilNBTAnchor that saves all current item NBT before transferring it out.

My mistake was that the tags were not generated correctly as they were actually generating the .HASH code of the item instead of the .NBT code.
This mistake makes it when I add the side-effects (defects) in the item with the Item-Ranking System and the NBT Translator Beta mechanism it will actually have no effect because of my mistake.
would create a new tag but it isn't possible because I hard-coded it in order to minimize exploits which can screw up your world. Therefore, I need to complete wipe it off the item and generate a new one like from before yesterday's patch hit (if you downloaded it, or if it auto-downloaded which I highly doubt because of the maintenance) it will screw your item.
Not to worry, once again, things are looking good right now.

SOI Periodic Table : 01/06/2015 10:13:30 pm1/06/15

SOI Periodic Table is now in Early-Access stage.
You can enable this via Early-Access settings in your CFG file.

It is normally disabled as "false" because of the amount of bugs, however, please note the special effects have not yet been implemented.
What does this Early-Access include - are there any extra steps I have to take?
- Items now currently have own unique generated tags which represent the side-effects they get.
When it is officially implemented, the tag will translate into values that the code can read which can be used to determine which defect or buff will be added.
Note that buffs are extremely rare (1%) because of the amount of strength these swords already have.

All Swords will have 25-30% increased durability when this is complete.
Remember that not all swords have this increased durability and only if the Item-Ranking System rank is below what is considered normal.

Post-Delayed Day 25 | Finale : 01/05/2015 5:47:50 pm1/05/15

It was a bit delayed but I managed to encrystalize it inside SOI.

- Fury Strike is now functionally working.
Located inside the CFG is a new field called B:fs=50.
You can periodically change this, but the game recommends 50.

I have tested and tested in Survival and the most casual setting is around 50. The Swords are already strong enough so why even buff them more?
We need a little kick - but we don't want to make it too overpowered, see where I'm going? K, ty.

- Swords of Israphel Periodic Table completed.

What is the SOI Periodic Table?
- It is a secret storage item which enables the storage of swords.
If you haven't heard, I am currently adding the dangerous side-effects of these Swords.
The SOI Periodic Table will only decrease the defect by the percentage the item gives (which is randomize), up to a cap of 75% and a minimum of 10%, note that it will be included in the item information tag when completed.

Sneak Peak of Side-Effects (or Defects)-
Note: Every defect is unique and randomized upon crafting.
Player loses __ amount of health every __ second(s). 
Player loses __ amount of hunger/saturation every __ second(s).
Sword does __ less damage.
Sword does __ less damage for every (specified randomized value) missing.
Player movement speed is decreased by __.
More to come!

I am currently planning on adding an item ranking system which ranks how good the item is.

- Fury Strike compile patch.

I've managed to change all personal data (NBT) values to floats instead.
Why can't it be integers?
- It just doesn't take it that way, and I can't cast it if it isn't a valid source.
Every 50 autoattacks results in an Empowered Critical which deals 350% of the Sword's natural effects.
Note: It scales with on-hit effects such as Inferior Sword's Stacks and Flame Sword's fire, which means the fire deals 350% of fire damage instead of the natural 100%!

- Fury Strike is currently enabled back for testing!
- You can always change the Fury Strike amount in your CFG.
Please be aware the default value right now is 256.

I can't make sure that the value will be changed anytime soon.
If you enter a value lower than 256 (which is minimum) then it would set it back to 256.

This is an issue with Java byte reading, you can't have a code storage less than 256 or it will become a byte.
A byte can be used with byte[256] - and therefore interprets interchangeable codes within mods and mods (such as Forge). This means that if it's a byte, it will not be ran properly instead it will default as a String[] main.

Day (Post) 22 | Happy New Years Patch | Add-on Addition (Buff) : 01/01/2015 5:38:19 pm1/01/15

Do remember that UltraLight³ is still being worked on - little updates are ahead because I am trying to put out a large update soon. You will hear more of UltraLight³ in the next few days or even sooner if things go as planned!

- I accidentally removed the point-blank entity of Ghast Sword making it way overpowered.
Now Fixed.
- Also on Day 20, I accidentally removed the right-click effectiveness a bit too much. It was healing less than what was considered a good amount - it might have been an issue with byte processing in Eclipse.
- Healing Sword now does 2 extra attack damage as the armor/resists were a bit too much.

- All swords now contain a special boost - Fury Strike - an automatical critical every 25 attacks.
Why would you add this?
- Some swords are way too weak and I needed to find a way to counter that. After some testing, I decided to add a special NBT boost which takes in account cooldown reduction from Pruqa Crystals.
Yes, Pruqa Crystals give cooldown reduction if consumed (in a later update).

I might change the per/<hit> which is currently 25 to a different integer/number/digit in the future as I need more official support and advice from the main community.

Thanks for supporting this mod, we've been a long way since the release.
I remember when everyone cheered for the new mod I was creating - and even some commented on originality.
But... I decided that wasn't a problem as this was a unique mod. It was. Thank you guys so much.

Update:
The Fury Strike is currently bugged because of NBT failure. If you remember back, I added RepoFlect as an attempt to simulate NBT storage without the need of avoiding protected and private statements. However, this has caused an abstract situation with the NBTDataTag processor as it is located in a private directory or package.
My attempt to fix this is to allow the pathway of private/protected methods and fields for other private/protected resources, this can't be a public resource or even more conflicts (bugs) will occur because I am great requirement of avoiding all public resources in case Minecraft accidentally renders them or Forge renders them as a faulty or invalid case of code (--in other words-- not valid for FML and Forge to process with their engine.)

TL;DR or Don't Understand: 
The NBT data for Fury Strike is corrupted and needs fixing due to the changes RepoFlect made.

I've just recently finished this patch and I've been waiting to set it out!

- Fixed an issue where the Ghast Sword would something shoot blanks (no damage, knockback, like nothingness.)
- Fixed an issue where the Wind Bow would sometimes knock the player back if the mob is being damaged by a different type of damage (any applies: cacti damage, fire, etc.)
- Fixed an extreme issue where the mod wouldn't load if you used an anvil with the Inferior Sword.

- Fixed an issue where the Flame Sword wouldn't set mobs on fire.
- Fixed an issue where the Flame Sword set mobs/players on fire even if they had Fire Resistance/Protection.

- The Homing Pruqa Bow now temporarily removed due to fatal issues with the CFG and DataTracker.

- The Healing Sword now takes account in armor / resists.
- The Healing Sword no longer requires your own base health as an account.

The Healing Sword heals for a static amount now.
In other words, it isn't a "Leech Sword."
- Right-clicking with the Healing Sword is now toned down.

Wind Bow and Rapid-fire Bow patches.

- Wind Bow now scales on the player's movement speed.
- Wind Bow has its built in calculation for the type of mobs it hits.
- Wind Bow data changes depending on how "heavy" the entity is (scales with model size).

- Rapid-fire Bow no longer rapid shoots while HOLDING right click because it was shooting weak arrows.
- Rapid-fire Bow no instantly charges and if you let go of your right-mouse button it will fire the arrow.

I decided to keep it a secret :OO

- UltraLight³ will be unheld tonight.
- Ghast Sword no longer fires an entity extending Snowballs because of its damage ratios.
- Ghast Sword now deals damage to entities correctly according to a real's Ghast's damage added by two!
- Wind Bow no longer knocks you back if you hit yourself.

- All bows now have a structured NBT that deals reduced effects if you accidentally hit yourself.
I will try to disable the arrow damage on the player in a later update.

I'm truly sorry for the late reply - I get little to no time to reply to my comments because of my daily work.
Of course! You may use this in your modpack, however you like, do note that the only requirements that I give you is to give full credit of this mod to its creators.
Currently, Swords of Israphel (SOI v0.5) is compatible with ALL mods due to the fact it is a Forge drag-and-drop to "mods" folder.

As with others, I'm truly sorry for the late reply - I get little to no time to reply to my comments because of my daily necessary work including modding.
This mod is compatible with Mac OS X (along with any computers that can run Forge).
All you have to do is drag-and-drop to the "mods" folder wherever that is located on your Mac.

In other words, this mod is completely fine/good/great/compatible with Mac OSX.

Excuse me, but tell me if this problem is fixed. There is an error/crash when you hit a hostile entity/mob with your bare hands. I don't know if this is the result of a bad id, but here is the link to the crash log. Anyway, un diamante por usted! (a diamond for you!) 

P.S. The only way I found out that this was the swords of israphel's problem was that it had Twinklez in it. :)

It's a problem with ticking entities such as modded ones or ones that have a different death situation such as the spider-jockey.
I am looking to resolve this problem, keep in mind that bug fixes like this take awhile - and take careful inspection, because who knows? Fixing this might create a thousand more bugs for me to fix! :c

Maybe you could add weapons specifically related to certain characters from the Shadow of Israphel, for example: Israphel's bow, Zombie Boss's sword, etc.

The latest version is 0.5. The download button is above it's yellowy-orange.
If you mean the update from the update log, then just use the original update button.

It even says updated: 12/5/14.

Yeah I've already had some people PM me about this. I've messed up on a null check.
Any bugs there are will be fixed on release of 1.8 MCForge or October 10th if it isn't out.

I think it might be best for you to fix it sooner rather then later since it may take time to update the latest mods to 1.8 so people will likely wait a few weeks for that to happen. Depends really on what other mods are most desired and how soon they will be upgraded to forge.

I don't know, I'm not the type of person who has so much time in their hands.
I have school, and need to study for tests so free-time for me is quite rare.

I'll take your advice and try, but nonetheless it'll probably won't happen until October 10th because that is the only day within these months where I have free-time.

Kk. Like I said, 1.7.10 is quite buggy. I recommend you to not use it.

Ya all the swords seem fine as far as I can tell only the bows don't work. So I won't use ranged, not like that changes my fighting style.

Not yet - but will be eventually, I'm trying my best with all the bug fixes and new patches coming out.
1.7.10 update may be delayed, but as of right now - 1.7.2 plans are still coming out.

Maybe a little less than a month before everything is sorted out, after all, I am recovering from my vacation, still not used to it here (and coding has been rough lately because of bugs and incompatibilties).

I have tried to port this mod to 1.7.10, but with the current changes and the 1.8 new fixes it's quite difficult.
I've managed to start Minecraft and out of 7 attempts, one of them worked for around 45 seconds.

This means that it works but the engine to run this mod isn't compatible with my current code.
I'm going to have to completely recode my main class for it to be compatible with 1.7.10 or even 1.8.

I won't be starting the complete recode until the 18th of August. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions please tell away. I accept all comments and all suggestions, so no worries! ;)

P.S. please make an attack shield sword! when right clicked the sword creates a magic shield which hangs in the air like 2 seconds then it gains speed while rushing and crushing the enemy! please make this sword! its not so OP as you think! :P

I just normally download using the 1.6.2 in the old links part and dragged it to the mod folder and it also stops my other mods from being constructed

In 1.6.2, there are issues where the "mods" folder does not read the file (because it's corrupted).

Therefore, you need to install it in the version.jar itself.
If you find this too confuzzling, I recommend you not to use this mod for 1.6.
