This Mod requires Risugami's ModLoader, and, for technical reasons, will not be nfor SMP any time soon.
Note about custom paintings: Pictures are saved in na standard png format, to the folder: .minecraft / mods / paintings.
This means nthat you can bring in your own pictures without editing them in ngame.
Imported paintings must be in a standard RGB / RGBA format, and a square size (fx 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128 or 256x256. the game will choke on anything else

Finnally its here, the updatet version of the Art of painting mod, with help from a modder called Doozy, that is now, assisting the ABP mods if their main modder is unavaible to mod :)

Black Canvas Bugfix: : 06/26/2011 9:43:39 am6/26/11

Now, we should finnaly have found and fixed the problem of the black canvas bug. The reason seemed to be a feature we added with a black background behind the gui that was created to make it easier for the "artist" to be creative, we have now removed that black background and that should fix the problem alot of people have got with the black canvas which made it impossible to create a painting. Be welcome to report if you still find any bugs. Thank you, and remember to download v1.2 with the black canvas bugfix.

We just found out that the cause of the black canvas is not only Optimine and Optifog. Alot of people without these mods still have the problem, we are sorry and we try to fix it as fast as possible.

June 21, 2011:
Today we found the cause of the black canvas error, we found out what causes it, appearently people with the mods Optifog and Optimine installed will have the Black canvas error. Optifog and Optimine are now marked as none-compitable with The Art of Painting mod. Thank you, to the people that helped us find the cause to this error.

Should fix some lag bugs, sorry about that guys... Please note that if you nare editing a painting and minecraft crashes (for whatever reason) you will nloose all progress, as your painting only saves after you are done with the GUI. nV1.1 also makes the small brush the default tool, instead of the larger none.
