This is a mod I once felt like making, so I did. This makes the drops of mobs more useful, by adding new armor, items, and tools. It is 90% because I NEED YOUR IDEAS! I could think of some on my own easily, but I am nice.
Current Items:
Bone Marrow - BONE FOOD!
Sharp Bone - Ouch!
Bone Sword - Sexy.
Tanned Leather - Cooked Much?
Tanned Leather Armor - Protective!
Wool Armor - Stylish!
Cooke Flesh - Useful Zombie!
Mönster Stew - Why the ö?, BECAUSE I CAN.
Raw Squid Flesh - NICE.
Cooked Squid Flesh - NICE x2.
Fried Egg - A popular request!
To craft Armor, craft like you would normal armor, but with desired material.
WARNING! This mod make squids not drop ink sacks! To craft an ink sac, take a raw squid flesh, and put water bucket under it!
WARNING 2! I know the food is not edible, I AM FIXING THIS PEOPLE!
WARNING 3/SPOILER! You can test out a future item, Mutton! Craft by 1 pork chop (raw), and a bone under it. You can cook it in furnace.

reason : used to make bone tools, same as a stick but a bone
crafting : 1 bone makes 2 cracked bone
drops commonly
now skeletons have a chance of dropping bows (somewhat rare)
Idea 2 : squib leg, get them by killing squids, pretty common

crafting : use them to make some TOOLS
makes you blind for 20 sec.
heals 5 food
cookable : true
now heals 7 food and blindness effect does'nt happen
can make skewer by putting a stick ontop and below. add fish for more food healed
Idea 3 : LEATHER TORCH
like a torch, but has lesser lighting range, good for nights when you
have only leather and no logs.
can set fire to mobs when stepped on
Idea 4 : chicken leg
yummeh, craft 1 chicken to get 2 chicken legs.
