The redevelopment of Optional Extras may be starting up soon. It will take a while as my code back then was so bad and messy so I am having to start from the beginning using nothing but a scrap of code from my archives. Please Please Please say what you want in the new release. Also the multiplayer version will be discontinued until modloaderMP is released for 1.5. The recreation of the mod will take about 1 week but due to the changes it may take longer. Also new items will not be added until the initial remake of the mod however they are being textured soon!
