Have a look at my Dragon Ball Z mod!
I planing to make this mod to be the best Dragon Ball Mod for MC ever ^^
I have many ideas and plans that will come true.
I started learning modding in October of 2012.

I started to make a HD Texture Pack Addon for Dragon Block C to use with other Texture Packs or just standalone.

- (DBC&JRMCore)change saibaiman spawn and henchman spawn to around the players when they have that saga.
- (DBC&JRMCore)group and mission system, main saga should progress for everyone in the group if members are at the same saga part. More group functions upcoming.
- (DBC&JRMCore)side mission system added. Only 1 side mission at a time can be launched. Currently 1 test mission. Later on more short mission will ba added and finaly Movie mission too.
- (DBC&JRMCore)Make ki attacks with selectable sounds.
- (DBC&JRMCore)Kami lookout safe zone config option added, by default it is enabled. dbc mob spawn, energy punch and energy attacks in lookout are disabled.

Many fixes and a few new features, like the long awaited saiyan tail wrapping mode.


- (Core&JBRA) Crash and error fix (it needs testing so it might not be fixed)
- (Core) changed BP calculations again
- (Core) creative players wont die from now on (hopefully)
- (Core) fixed decreasing release, default Ctrl+C (Fn+Release keys)

(DBC) Death Penalty removed, instead one can set difficulty from
character sheet and only King Kai will be able to reduce it. increasing
difficulty will earn players exp boosts
- (DBC&JBRA) set saiyan
tail wrapped mode, Kami can cut down tail, half-saiyan can born without
tail, cut down others tail with disk with 25% chance, tail regrows if
cut down by disk with 33% every morning, forced tail regrow that costs
100HP and 20TP for now
- (DBC) The power of being alive. Your power
will grow continuously if you stay alive but if you die this additional
power will reset (currently not fully working)
- (DBC) Time Chamber
and King Kai Planet has now a gui that tells how much exp one can earn
and when one is eligible to earn exp, it will get slower as you gain
more and more Power (above 20,000BP will continuously increase the exp
gain time). And every exp gain will damage energy and health by 50 for
now. Only a specific amount (set in config)  can be earned this way
- (DBC) After 20mins in the chamber, you will need to wait outside another 20mins, to enter the chamber for 20 mins again

(Core) from now jrmctp the TP giving command can be negative too (dbca
and dbctp commands are removed, use jrmca and jrmctp instead)
- (Core) jrmca command now can set all to specific amount not just max. /jrmca set all (amount) [playerName]

Latest News (19th of January 2014):
New public test for the new systems.
Skill systems first part is working.
  • Saiyan race transformations are available!

  • Other races must wait for next release.

  • New additions, balancing the jump, dash, fly functions but they still arent workin as it is planned.

  • 8 new hairs (not finished thou) including bald as hair too.

  • Sagas are playable again.

  • Increased the saibaiman spawn for testing reasons.

  • Skills can be learned from Korin and Kami.
  • There will be more skills lateron. Kaio currently wont teach.
  • High gravity currently wont give exp, only slow movement.

  • Korin's senzu problem is fixed, so everyday you can now ask for a senzu.

  • Death system works again!
  • Wave attacks are still disabled but for next release it might be enabled.
  • and there might be things I forgot to say that I changed or were added

      • Punching only works if you look at a enemy and hold the left mouse button till you hear the punching sound. Then every punch should give you 1 DBCexp (so you cant spam it as before and later the interval will be customizable)
      • Killing a DBC mob gives you some more DBCexp
      • Sagas should give you TP but it is under development

  • So now dbc mobs damage your ki bar and if you run out of ki you can die.

DBC 1.0.12 released. This version is mostly bugfixes. There were issues with the scouters BP reader and it didnt worked well. Now it should work just fine ^^
Kaio's (King Kai's) Planets gravity is now BP based!
So if you BP is above 60,000 you wont have problems with the 10 times gravity ^^
The Sagas key has been removed and it is now in the J key's menu.
And you should be able to see your own BP now too.

I have a few questions, what is the name of the dirty stony biome in the code? I want to be able to change a regular minecraft biome to a dirty stony biome with an MC edit filter, but it appears the name of the biome in the mod's coding isn't dirty stony because i tried adding it into the filter, but the biome wouldn't change. 

next, what do the different colors do? It appears that the explosions do more damage when the colors allign to your allignment, but my friends say they have other effects. Can you tell me more?

One of my friends also thinks that race affects tp gain. He had a human but claimed it gained tp slower than any of the other races, and thinks namekians gain tp the fastest. Is this true?

Finally, can you make the frieza soldiers and saibamen spawnable outside of a mission. In the past I could use MCedit to put saibamen and other dbc enemies in different areas for the server i run with my other two friends. Saibamen made good "grunts" but now they can't be spanwed outside a rockybiome with the mission anymore. I can still spawn nappa and vegeta and those guys with MCedit just fine, but not saibamen or freiza soldiers. 

Any help with any of these questions would be GREATLY appreciated, and sorry if this takes up a lot of your time, but this would be helpful.

1) Unlikely to get the source code for the biomes, but whatever. If you want it then just send in an email. Contact information is on the website.

2) The different colors are based on your alignment whether you are good, evil, or just in the middle.


3) It does not effect TP gain.

4) Maybe, but again, if you want something like this you must send in an email.

Hey, I'm new to this mod, and I'm not sure about how everything works. I have two questions, and it's been bothering me that I can't find out these simple things. First thing is, is it possible to charge ki, and if so, how do you do it? Second, I've seen people curling their tails around their waist, and I'm not sure how to do it. Could you perhaps tell me how to do these things?

You charge your ki by holding c which you can change in the controls and to curl your tail around yourself you have to press v to open the stats menu and at the bottom right of that menu it says tail mode, click that once and it should wrap your tail around your waist. :D

I downloaded the version where you can see the lookout and I downloaded the JBRA-Client, the JRMCORE and the other forge to be sure but when i go ingame and press v the menu comes up but i cant choose hair and when I press next I cant select ki and it also doesnt show DBC in the mods thing on the title page even though I put the three things in the mods folder and installed forge. Can somebody please help me???? I have been trying all day to make it work but I cant which makes me sad since i think this is the best mod there is. :(

Make sure you were using correct Forge, redownload everything, and delete the config files for the mod.

I downloaded the latest version of Dragon Block C (probably the best mod I ever played) but when i play i cant see Kame's lookout even though i followed your instruction video on your website. why does this happen????? please help me because this mod is really fun but this makes me wonder if i did something wrong. I downloaded the link at the top of your DBC downloads page and installed them onto my minecraft and it works except for this. Also why are there so many Dinosaurs and why do saibamen tp to me no matter if im in the rocky biome or not???

There seems to be a bit of a problem with the mod now, when i press c, the game crashes. I don't know what it's supposed to do so i've been avoiding that so far. Also, when i try to go into the time chamber, the game crashes as well. I'm not sure what's going wrong. Any ideas?

Do not believe so because the coding is different. If anything, you are invincible because the other mobs wont hurt hearts.

I was using the 1.6.2 version so I was unaware of races other than just saiyan with default model+hair XD

Upgraded to the 1.6.4 and I liked how you handled the races (especially with changing the character model =D). This is an excellent mod, I can't wait to see how it comes along =)

creative players shouldnt have limitations on ki use....
just saying if creative mode is essentially a god mode, i think it should be that way with dbc. at least have the option to turn ki usage on and off for those of us who wish to roleplay as say frieza destroying worlds....

wait a second... i got a compromise. what if.... instead of infinite ki... you make it cost less using more tp than what you normally would to make an attack. but the lower the ki cost, the more training points will be used. if it costs zero, then you will need lots of training points in order to be able to create it (close to the 32000 max points if you want an insanely powerful attack that would drain lots of it normally, but giving me infinite uses). that way i can have my power BUT itll be difficult to be able to attain it without cheating. that said, the inverse can be true to, the lower the tp cost, the higher the ki cost to use. so stronger players with more tp can play around with less power for more tp.

That would not be logical because it would take more ki for more power output.

thats the thing... this is to make  stronger players to be able to do the same thing without draining all their resources and encourage players like me to work hard in order to drastically reduce cost. think of it like this: would a character like cell or frieza would be exausted from just one massive act of power? keep in mind second form frieza was able to create a massive explosion with the flick of the wrist and showing him not drained at all. 
it does take ki for more power output, which is why a seperate option to use more and more training points to reduce the cost  (to balance this the cost will add  each time you buy it, with a barely ki-using attack for the maximum amount of training points)would make a bit more sense and making bigger attacks with less ki cost THAT much more rewarding for players like me who just wants a power trip with this mod.

unless you have another way to make it so if we want to play the role of a super powered warrior at least in creative, just consider it. because thats part of the reason why i wanted to play this mod in the first place.
also... "there has to be fairity" in the arguement is invalid, since, this isnt survival mode where we scrounge around for senzu beans. this is creative mode. where we have infinite resources, cannot die, i can get any item from this mod in an instant, etc. hell, i can even summon shenron using creative mode. as many times as i want without fear of waiting. so whats stopping you from an infinite ki usage to be used only for creative mode? creative mode isnt just for building, you know. im pretty sure if i can shoot infinite arrows with max enchants due to creative mode and too many items i THINK ki shouldnt be an issue with powerful attacks. in survival mode, id understand there has to be rules like a dbz fighting game to keep players from getting too powerful. but, if i can summon shenron with one infinite-use dragon ball, why cant i fire off a supernova without completely draining myself of power? and for good measure, in creative mode ki attack customization should NOT be limited. since, creative mode is basically frieza getting his wish of immortality and id think immortality gives a massive, godlike power boost. just saying, there shouldnt be limits to what one can do in creative mode. in survival, sure, but not when i can do just about anything, spawn anything, make anything except a powerful, not-draining attack because i am "not strong enough"
and dont take this the wrong way dude, i love this mod.... alot. all i am doing is trying to make a logical, well thought-out arguement instead of screaming "your a fag" at you like the common internet troll, but instead make it a more fun mod for those of us who like me, never touch survival mode and instead go to a mode with like NO limitations in creativity and ways to play and would like to feel like a total baddass where, in the same more, i could survive a freaking nuke. just  consider doing it.





.... at the very least give us that option. maybe labled "for fun"

Well, I thank you for your consideration of not just calling me a fag like some normally and end up looking like foolish people because they have no valid arguements. Instead of making a whole thing for you to read and answer to you because I have to go in a second, I'll just say this could be a possible chance to be a configurable option.
