Hey guys, Dof here with a new mod for Minecraft!
So I've finally gotten into using Forge for modding because I felt that Forge mods are a lot easier to install, so here you go!
This is the Avatar: The Last Airbender Mod! I recently rewatched the series and decided to make a mod about it, expect plenty from this in future updates. If I decide to finish the (in my opnion) disappointing The Legend of Korra I may add items and such from that into the mod. Let's get onto the recipes and functions!
Features
- Bending of all 4 elements, Air, Water, Earth and Fire using Items and Keybinds while the Items are in the player's inventory.
- Armor for all nations.
Airbending
To Airbend you need a Staff (Recipe shown). Right click on a mob to launch it into the air and use the Airbending Keybind (Configurable through the Controls menu) to launch yourself. Careful, you can still die from falling!
Waterbending
To Waterbend you need Waterbender's Spirit Water (Recipe shown). Right click on the floor to place still water and use the Waterbending Keybind (Configurable through the Controls menu) to heal yourself when you are in water.
Earthbending
To Earthbend you need Earthbender's Concentration (Recipe shown). Right click on the floor to place a block of stone and use the Earthbending Keybind (Configurable through the Controls menu) to give yourself resistance.
FirebendingIncomplete
To Firebend you need Firebender's Rage (Recipe shown). Right click on a mob to set them on fire, there is a Firebending Keybind but as of V1.0.1 it does nothing.
Armor
There are 4 sets of armor. Air Nomad, Waterbender, Earthbender and Firebender. They do not break and are not very strong.
Air Nomad Armor
To craft this armor, place a feather above a piece of leather armor. The armor piece must correspond to the piece you want to create so if you want a tunic, craft it with a tunic.
Waterbender Armor
To craft this armor, place a water bucket above a piece of leather armor. The armor piece must correspond to the piece you want to create so if you want a tunic, craft it with a tunic.
Earthbender Armor
To craft this armor, place a stone block above a piece of leather armor. The armor piece must correspond to the piece you want to create so if you want a tunic, craft it with a tunic.
Firebender Armor
To craft this armor, place a flint and steel above a piece of leather armor. The armor piece must correspond to the piece you want to create so if you want a tunic, craft it with a tunic.
Future Plans
- Ride-able Flying Bison mob.
- Lemur mobs, tame-able.
- More bending options.
- Structures: Air Temples, Water Tribe etc.
- Characters from the series: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko etc.
This requires the latest version of Forge.
