Glade of Dreams dimension (rayman dimension) [WIP] V0.2

Level 40 : Master Droid
this mod adds a whole new (actually 3 new) dimension(s) to the game. Called: the Glade of Dreams, which is the dimension of Rayman. (if u dont know where i'm talking about, google Rayman and u will know.)
1st: the dimension of Rayman 2, this one has 5 dungeons
- the sanctuary of water and ice (u must slide much here) guardian: Axel, an ice demon
- the cave of bad dreams (loads of jumping puzzels) guardian: Jano, an giant eye with a hat and 2 bone arms
- the sanctuary of stone and fire (maze) guardian: Umber, an stone statue, wich actually lives
- the sanctuary of rock and lava (loads of flying puzzels) guardian: Foutch, fire demon, looks like a brother of Axel
- the crow's nest (actually the boss battle) boss: the Grolgoth, a master-destruction robot, wich is piloted by the pirate-captain Razorbeard.

2nd: the dimension of Rayman 3.


3nd: the dimension of Rayman Raving Rabbids, started on it. the portal stone to here is actually activated, but wont work.



INSTALLATION:


download: Modloader 1.2.4, ModloaderMP 1.2.4, GUI API 1.2.4 and Player API 1.2.4. Install these loaders/API's and after that, download Glade Of Dreams mod, and simpely drop it into your .minecraft mods folder. Have fun killing Pirates/Rayman/Hoodlums!

when done, it will work with the Aether mod, and also with the 1.1 version of mincraft.

the crafting recipe for the portal so far is this: (where W= white stone dust, and L is lava)

then u get a magic door item. u must then create a 3 by 3 flat square of obsidian, than place the magic door in the middle. the portal is than created.

the dungeons are spread over the dimension, but they will spawn here:
Axel's dungeon: in a biome with loads of water and ice (lol, his sanctuary is called the same xD)
Jano's dungeon: in a cave in the Marshes of awakening
Umber's dungeon: near lava rivers in a temple
Foutch's dungeon: inside mountains with loads of fire, lava and lavafalls
the Boss battle: in the Prison ship of the pirate's, wich is floating over the Iron Mountains


Rayman 3 dungeon list so far:

-Teensie castle (this is actually not a 'hostile' dungeon, but its like a timed maze, with a nice suprise on the end of it!)


-that house of that squidward like hunter


-Knaaren cave


-Tower of Leptys

i know it takes a long while... but hey, mod is not dead yet :)
(also, im the only person working on this... so its a lot harder)

rayman 3 dimension is accessible, added new spawn area for the Rayman 2 world, with shops XD. Pirate strongholds spawn more, and u can capture their Colonizer Class warships to create your own stronghold.

fixed the link+pirates will now also (after 20 min of gameplay) starting with building colony's in (if u have it) Aether, normal world and Nether. (also fixed bug that pirates spawn out of wood planks)

added better cages, whitestone ore mines faster (only 20 sec. now), added whitestone tools, whitestone spawns more, fixed bug of whitestone changing into redstone after 10 min.

working on (like Aether) title screen. wich means: u can toggle world and theme, and i already have it this far: when u wait for 10 secs, rayman will run trough the screen on a walking shell, than repeat this over and over again everytime after 10 secs. LOL! (btw, this is going to be in V.0.2)

also, for some weird reason a bug has appeard that makes that items of this mod no longer showed in creative inventory/TMI Xtra inventory. I will try to fix it for the V.0.2 release!

added cages as some sort of locked chests. you have to 'shoot' them with youre fist twice to open them. (in the 'normal' world, u are steve/youre skin, in this dimension you are now rayman, but i'm planning to make a character selection screen, wich allows u to choose between: Goodies, Baddies and Neutrals. Goodies are everyone on Raymans side, Baddies are everyone who's against Rayman, Neutrals are not with you, and not against u.)

Now added pirate, piranha and Walking Shell mobs. the shells can be tamed, you can ride without saddle on them and control them

there are now red and yellow lums (mobs and items)
red lums give more health
yellow lums u can use to 'buy' magic doors from teensies
also a new ore, used for the portal, called white stone. it is the same rarety as redstone, but cant be used for circuits and needs lava to melt it into dust.

i have an idea,what if you made it so teensie circles randomly generated in the world and if you give him 10 yellow lums he will give you rayman's gloves which normal without any upgrades does 2 damage,when you left click with an empty slot, with your gloves on, it will let you shoot a white energy ball, but if you give him 15 lums he'll give you a damage upgrade which multiplies your damage by 2=4 dmg ,if you've played the game before you would know, turns your energy balls into the color blue, then to get mark ll damage upgrade costs 35 lums and and multiplies it by two again =8 dmg ,again turns your energy balls orange-ish, there are a lot of upgrades like being able to fire it faster which i wanted to be able to use two hands buut it would take too long so just increase the fire rate,then there is the ability to make your energy balls bounce off walls and mobs,then to also charge the energy ball with right click to multiply the damage by 3 =24, also the way you get the yellow lums is by breaking cages,which randomly generate in the world, it can drop from 1-5 lums per cage,and has a 1 in 50 chance of dropping a red lum which increases your health by one heart and an even less chance of getting a green lum 1/100 that if you die you dont lose all your items,but when you die that green lum is gone. it's a lot to take in but i hope you take some of my ideas and put it in your mod, if you are still even working on it which if you are not i am sad. either way have a nice day. EDIT:i just thought of something,maybe if you have 50 yellow lums in your inventory, in the teensie circle there would be these pillars of stone that if you right click it with 50 lums it will make a portal to a random sancutary,water and ice, rock and lava, fire and stone, wind and clous )i believe) and when you get all masks you put it in a crafting table it will make a portal,the spinning ones, that when you place it anywhere,4x4 blocks, and you go through it, it will send you to where polokus lives at and if you right click him he will give you an upgrade,when added to the glove it gives you golden fists,like those gloves that you get in rayman 2 that is amazing,it doubles your dmg again (if dmg already maxed out,24x2=48 dmg, it will be useful,so now goodbye, and if i have more ideas i willbe sure to tell you.

i have been working mostly on models, and since i need to update it to quite a few versions further, it will take a while, though its not dead.

Well, I believe fixing of this mod is required before it is updated to 1.2.5, but no pressure, the next update isn't going to be for a LONG while.

Hey. Something screwed up. I checked it, and something went wrong.

Here's what I got:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: mod_GladeofDreams (wrong name: _tmi_MgZOrder)

WTF! I installed everything correctly!

ow yes, i forgot to delete some codes in that file. its code that enables stuff to show up in TMI, but for some reason, it doesnt and even makes that mc crashes

I will finish it for 1.2.4 than update it to the latest version on that moment. cus im NOT doing all the coding again... The skinning part took me 30 min. The disigning 4 days and the coding almost a year... 0_0. and ill fix the link. again.

1.2.5 uses other coding for most things than in 1.2.4 so as i told u not gonna upgrade it untill i finished the first global part (which means: most of Rayman 2 dimension, Rayman 3 dimension and Rabbid dimension) than ill update it to the current mc version, and than ill conitinue upgrading the mod.

It would be awesome if the 4 masks of polokus were in this mod! and have like a porpus, like to give to polokus to open the way to the prison ship dungeon, Plus if you've ever saw rayman revolution you would have seen grolem 13, guardian of the iron mountains,.. prittey epic battle. but even without these things i bet the mod would be great!

i got some textures for the masks but i dont know if they would be any good. there custom textures but still look like the masks from rayman i made 3D aswell but the top parts are 2D.Plus would you e ale to make it when you pick up the masks and when you hold them in your hand its like holding a map, with 2 hands, like in rayman...lol
