HOLLOW is an MCEdit filter that hollows out an object. It can also be used to add a layer of material to all the surfaces within the selection area.

An instructional is on the Imgur album.

The idea for this filter was originally suggested by @Jigarbov on Twitter.

exactly what I need! my trees are so big and filled with transparent leaves that it gives ridiculous amounts of lag. i need to hollow them out, or fill them with wood

Sethbling's enlarge filter is outdated, you can now enlarge things using MCedit's clone feature and raising the scale
