MODLOADER VERSION

Hey Guys, Dongy and Thom have been making a new mod called The Instant House Mod, it adds 2 new items, when you right click the ground with it, it makes a house. This is perfect if you want a good shelter for the night and you are exploring!

At the moment we have added 1 house and a tent. We plan to add more houses and buildings and maybe even different coloured tents!

Updated the mod to 1.4.7 from 1.4.6 and now the house and tent are 100% working. The textures are good and so are the recipes. We are also working on a tower (instant tower) for your survival :D youtube mod review by Thom will soon be up! with recipes and showcase!

How to Install

1. Locate to your minecraft.jar ---C:Users%UserName%AppDataRoaming.minecraftbin---

2. open it with Winrar - 7zip - WinZip or any other program.

3. Drag and drop ModLoader into minecraft.jar

4. Drag and drop InstantHouse mod into minecraft.jar

Hello!

To make an Instant House the only thing that matters is the time you want to put into it!

its so simple that i even found it out my self!
( i was new to Minecraft Modding )

Look at "ItemFlintAndSteel" it has the method called "OnItemUse".

Then it says alot of important code that you don't have to worry about.
The only thing that matters is the "par3World.setBlockWithNotify(par4, par5, par6, Block.fire.BlockID);"

this means it will place a fire block at "par4, par5, par6" (you can change these parameters to the following: par4 = z, par5 = y par6 = x)

this means it will pace at the z = 0, y = 0 & x = 0. (on the block clicked)
You can then change the fire block to whatever you want.

And if you want more blocks to spawn at different locations (which you of course want)
Then you can go ahead and add another line that could look like this:

"par3World.setBlockWithNotify(z, y-1, x, Block.netherrack.BlockID);"
What this will do is that if you added this to your own ItemITEMNAME then it would place a fireblock where you click on a block and beneath the fire it would place some netherrack because of the "y-1".

So you from what i've just told you, you should be able to understand how to make Instant Structures from Items!

NOTE: If you want it to be from blocks then there is a Method call "OnBlockRightClicked" or "OnBlockActivated".

oh yeah :D if you try put a door it puts the lower part of it :D

Here is how THATS done:

ItemDoor.placeDoorBlock(par3World,par4, par5, par6+5, 0, Block.

doorWood);

or instead of doorWood you can put an iron one :D
