Update: Now uses Forge!!

This mod adds Mjölnir, Thor's Hammer to Minecraft!

Using just 2 sticks, 4 iron, and a diamond, you can craft the Mjölnir!
With unlimited uses, you can use it to hit mobs with 9 hearts of damage, with Knockback V(5)! When you craft it, the enchantment is automatically added! This weapon is pretty insane!

Features:
Mjolnir Hammer - 9 hearts of damage, Knockback V, Right-click for lightning!
Full Thor Armour set - Almost as good as diamond, but not as bad as iron
- Thor's Helm
- Chestplate of Thor
- Leggings of Thor
- Thor's Boots

If you use creative mode or commands to get the Mjölnir hammer, you will NOT get the knockback enchantment. Same if you craft it and shift+click it. (You have to click it from the crafting bench and then put it in a slot)  Thanks to duke_Frans for the fix! :D

Status Get rid of all the fire on the ground when you use the hammer.
Status Disable player damage from the lightning.

It Perma - puts and enchantment on it instead of your method of crafting it
Like it is always enchanted with Enchantment X even in creative mod.

I did like the instructions told me, put the jar folder in that  to minecraft.jar, yes I have Minecraft Forge. Do I put the folders that are inside the jar and place them in the minecraft.jar or what. I seriously have read the whole post. I'm not a retard.

I think the crafting recipe should be a diamond block on top, and change the iron with obsidian and make the sticks blaze rods because the crafting recipe for mjolner is kinda cheap...

That does make sense in terms of cost, but the hammer looks like its made out of some sort of metal, not obsidian. Also, this was supposed to be a cheap kind of item. ;p It was kind of just a test for me in terms of my skills. First mod I ever made hehe.

Hey i was thinking, you should add a new ore that you create the hammer out of instead of iron and without the amour on you can not use/hold the hammer because in the film 'Thor' no one can pick up the hammer but Thor himself and someone in the film said something like '...it was forged in the heat of a dieing star' so it shouldn't be that cheap!

Its made of a Metal called: 'Uru' can be found as ore!!!! But only make a spring of like 5 and instead and of ingots you could have to make them into blocks to craft the hammer but make that amour out of another metal like ultimate steel (Coal and iron and Uru crafted together) This is gonna be great!

if u wanted to keep it and make it realistic (not saying u should but "if") just change out the iron for iron blocks that way u can keep the iron aspect. maybe make it an emerald instead of a diamond or something.

But to someone who believes in the old gods, like me...
It is kind of insulting that you have taken inspiration from Marvels sissy-like version of Thor.... (The armor and Mjølner looks a lot like that)
If you ask me, you should have done your homework my friend...
Mjølner has (as you have done) a very big head... BUT the handle is very very short, due to a sabotage done by Loki when the dwarfs made it....
And also, it just looks like some cartoon hammer man... There should at the very least be an indication of some sort of Nordic pattern...
I don't think you were trying to offend anyone or actually mock the gods, so no hate....
Just think it's sad that you (apparently) found inspiration from "Thor" the Marvel "superhero/god/prettyboy/weakling) because Marvel/Stan has totally shit all over the Norse gods...

There should be a Read-me in the download, but basically open up your minecraft.jar (%appdata%.minecraftbinminecraft.jar using WinRAR or 7zip, and then drag and drop the files from the jar folder that is inside the downloaded file. Don't forget to install Forge first.
