Mau5Craft here with a new mod called "Utilities+." You guys will absolutely love this mod. In this mod, it gives you the chances to craft new tools, blocks, armor, and food. Check out the features listed below to see what the mod includes! You do need mod loader for the mod to work. Crafting recipes are in the pictures. 

Please give the mod a +DIAMOND if you like it!!!! Make sure to share with your friends!!! Favorite this mod, that way you will always know the updates that come and be able to look for the mod quickly!

Included In Mod:
  • Lapis Lazuli Utilities
  • Redstone Utilities
  • Obsidian Utilities
  • Bedrock Utilities (bedrock can be mined with obsidian tools and multi tools)
Crafting:
  • regular tools like sword, spade, pickaxe, axe, and hoe have the same crafting
  • crafting help in the images

Food:
  • now you have a new food which is a pill, it restores all of your hunger bars
  • the pill has a healing effect

Multi Tools:
  • all of the regular tools combined into 1 tool that has all the usage

Wands: 
  • there are 2 types of wands, lava and water wands

Throwable Items:
  • grenades (bigger explosion)
  • ninja stars (higher damage)

Ingots:
  • new ingots for some of the types of ores
Blocks:
  • new jump block
  • new block, redstone block
  • bedrock block can be mined with the obsidian pickaxe

Mobs:
  • coming soon! (stay tuned)

More Features:
  • more features coming soon!

Bug: grenade is bugged (throws 2 instead of 1, once the 2nd one explodes, it causes explosion but no blocks drop. It just causes them to be invisible, if you know how to fix it, pm me and i will fix it right away.)

  • added new biome

  • the mod is not going to have anymore new features because it doesn't have the capacity to hold it. So i am going to be making separate mods which are suppose to be in this mod pack, but they won't be.

Sadly the mod can't handle any more items added to it :/ already tried to add new tools to it but it kept crashing and there was no way to resolve it

I might have messed up the codding for the bedrock and obsidian tools being able to break obsidian. I am going to update the mod soon so i will make sure everything is fixed :D

I think that the redstone grenade is a bit op though, it lagged out my crappy laptop -_-

thanks! I just increased the grenade explosion and tested it in a flat world but it worked fine there but then again there is nothing there at flat world, so i will see how it goes in the regular world and if it causes lag i will decrease the explosion.

Awesome mod, the thing is for me is that, the overworld biome spawns mooshrooms, by, like hundreds, so it makes my minecraft lag pretty bad(almost crashed if i hadn't noticed all the sounds and the mobs stopped),lol.

Instead of bedrock (it makes no sense since it's not normally mineable), make something else like plasma essence or Carbon tools made from iron + gold

One problem, though is that all the armour shows up as bedrock and the redstone shows up as lapis :/

i just tested the armor, that is some weird bug i don't even know how that happens lol but i will soon fix it, the textures are only messed up, not the stats for the armor, so bedrock still has its own stats and so does the other armor

I have noticed that when you throw the redstone grenade, you actually throw two, one of them is where you are, and doesn't disappear, but otherwise, this mod is very good! I wish I could make mods :o

I have an idea for the mod, maybe instead of bedrock its self you can do an ore like diamonds thats Admidium Ore and its super rare. Just a thought?

i think i have seen someone make admidium ore items and tools before, and i actually have new things replace bedrock and obsidian in the update, not replacing it but changing the recipe for the crafting into something even more challenging to get which will help you craft the armor and tools
