This is my first mod! It adds 4 new ores to the game. 
Emerald,Amethyst, Citrine, and Sapphire. 

Ores drop dust, smelt the dust to get gems. Gems are used to craft the tools.
Each ore has a 1 in 8 chance to drop two dusts.

Citrine tools are a little bit faster than iron and have 800 uses. It spawns below 40.

Emerald tools are a little bit faster than diamond and have 1200 uses. It Spawns below 30.

Amethyst tools are faster than gold and have 1800 uses. It spawns below 20.

Sapphire tools are faster than Amethyst, but have 800 uses. It spawns below 20.

Gypsum tools are almost instant, but have 300 uses. It spawns below 25

Armor

Citrine is a little better than iron.

Emerald is a little better than diamond.

Amethyst is much better than diamond, and lasts longer.

Sapphire is better than Amethyst but wears out quicker.

Gypsum recieves no damage, but it wears out as quick as iron.

is it not compatible with some mods? It seems like lots of mods like this are not compatible with spc mod, which I have.

Its Because you have Worlds, If you back up your worolds in a different folder, than move it back, it will work :)

Guys, Just USe MCPatcher its what i do! it shows you what mods are installed, and you can patch ur .jar with it, if you dont wantany mods, just UnPatch IT. Works Great!!!

i really want this mod! but it conflicts... with what, i wonder?
EDIT- won't even show if i disable all other mods! (minus modloader and TMI) now i am severely depressed! i was looking forward to those...  :'(

I'm working on another mod, its gonna add dinosaurs to the game, and i'll try to do it without editing base classes so it would be compatible with other mods. Since you are like the person who comes here most, i'll let you choose what dinosaur to make. So which one do you want?

you dont have to copy the files. try to do this again by hitting options then force update. do the same process all over again

I could easily add 3 a day, but im working on this huge mod now.(it'll be my second :D)
Have you ever heard of the game Monster Hunter Tri. Thats what my new mod will be based on. :)

When I play a world and try to move or open my inventory, a screen comes up saying "Saving Chunks" and then my game crashes...Do you know why it is doing this?

Step 1: download this mod and download ModLoader.
Step 2: go into your minecraft folder. Got to bin then open up the jar with a program like winRAR.
Step 3: drag the files from my mod and the files from modloader into the jar.
Step 4: delete a folder called meta-inf.
