OmniTool Mod


Hello Minecrafters! So have you ever been running around, mining in a cave, and then all of a sudden, you see a creeper walk up next to you and you can never switch to your sword in time? Well I present to you, the OmniTool mod! 

This mod adds a new block, armor, tools, and most importantly of all, the OmniTool! The OmniTool is a fully functional 4-in-1 item, and all it takes to switch between a pickaxe, shovel, sword, and axe is a simple right-click! All items are crafted the same as regular Minecraft items, with the exception that the OmniTool is a combination of the four respective omni tools. Crafting of all blocks/items is presented below.

Mod Review: (Click these words!)

Installation: (ModLoader Required!)
1. Open "minecraft.jar" in %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft/bin with WinRAR or 7-zip
2. Delete META-INF
3. Drag ModLoader files into "minecraft.jar"
4. Drag ALL files from the mod (including folders!) into "minecraft.jar"
5. Enjoy!

Omni Blocks:
GRG G=Gold Ingots
ROR R=Redstone Dust
GRG O=Obsidian

Regular Omni Tools: (All other tools are crafted the same, replacing wood/stone/iron/gold/diamond with an Omni Block)

When using the Omni-tool, switching the funtion deletes the enchantment.

That would ruin the point of an OmniTool! The cool part is that you can have each individual one and be able to switch! Making it one all-encompassing tool would ruin the whole thing! :P

Good point, i geuss i was thinking more about practicality, not awesomeness. now that i think about it i like the right click- its like a swiss army knife or leatherman.

ModLoader adds many things. You should be thanking Risugami for making ModLoader! Without it you wouldn't be able to access other mods with mods. Therefore there would never be a "mod pack." Also, it makes the Modders' job so much easier.

what ever "Big Shot" gosh atleast make a good mod, im sick of all of these stupid dirt to diamonds and these mutli/omin or whatever tools that all of you noobs make just to get a high level then show it off, a true modder spends atleast a week coding something that is both benificial and fair, so you can take your friggan mods and shove them up your creeper face!!!

Hello darkminer567, I don't believe we've met. However, I would like to let you know that, despite what you may think, I uploaded this mod simply because I thought other people would like to see what I made. Not because I was trying to level up, not because I thought I was amazing, but just to give people the opportunity to download something they might think worthwhile. So thank you for your input, but next time I'd appreciate it if you kept something like this private.

yea would be 10x better if I could figure out how to give new mobs walking animation (an Zerg that does not move is no Zerg at all)

well If you know how to make an model have walking animation...
I was thinking of not doing the secret one (for now) until I get back on my feet from my previous quite and doing a secret type of monster you make.

This mod is so fantastic! I was one of the first people to use this and it has made mining so much more efficient. I have wanted this to exist since I started playing MineCraft and 0mnipotent made it! I hope this guy keeps making mods because this is great! Kudos to you.
