When you're in creative mode, and you press the middle mouse button (scroll wheel), it sets your current item to the block you're facing. I found it to be really helpful when building stuff. As of now, it doesn't work in multiplayer, but I will find a way! (Without server mods).

Nope. That just switches to the block if you already have it in your quickbar. This puts a block in your quickbar at your current cursor location.

really? Cuz I can't get it to work. I keep pressing the third button of the mouse, but it doesn't work. You just install by putting the Minecraft.class into the jar right? Maybe it's just incompatible, but i don't know, cuz minecraft didn't crash. :/
