THIS APP NOW HAS A WINDOWS VERSION

This is an app I made for Windows/Mac that creates a wool mural from an imported image. The software exports a .schematic file that you can import into Minecraft using MCEdit.

Let me know if you have any problems with it or have suggestions for improvements. I've marked it as 95% complete because it is an ongoing project, and I plan to add more features through the GitHub repo. Hope you like it.

To check out the source code, visit the GitHub repos respectively:

Progress: 95% Complete

How do you install this mod? Can you use MineCraft Forge? Please reply. Thanks!
Edit Reply Delete
It is not a mod. It is a standalone application for Mac and PC. Download and Run. Simple as that.

how to install ??? is there a .exe file or drag into the mc edit files ???
Edit Reply Delete
Yes, there is an .exe file. You can click This Link, then click "Windows Version." That will download a .zip file which contains the .exe file.
Edit Reply Delete
is there a way to import images in Minecraft WITHOUT using MCedit, because my mcedit really really sucks(black flickering screen issue)
Edit Reply Delete
Unfortunately, not at this time. Maybe in a future release.

how does this work?
Edit Reply Delete
Run the program, drag an image into the box, drag the slider to select a size, (works best if its 150 x 150 or so) Click Preview, then Save Schematic. It will save a file with the extension ".schematic" To import this file into a minecraft world, you'll have to have a program called MCEdit. Good luck.

It saves it as a *.scematic file. You'll have to use MCEdit to import it into a minecraft world.

heres the writing thingy:! Cannot execute "C:DOCUME~1OwnerLOCALS~1TempRar$EXa0.689MCPixelArt.exe"
Edit Reply Delete
Very strange. Did you actually extract the exe file from the zip file before you tried to launch it? It won't work if you try to launch it from within the archive. You have to extract it with a program like WinZip.

You should upload this in the mods section, projects are for buildings...
Edit Reply Delete
Well technically it's not a mod. And even though it's not explicitly a Minecraft structure, it's still a "project" because I put time into it and produced a product, and it's Minecraft related, which is why it's in the "Other" category.
