PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD THIS MOD/ON ANOTHER WITHOUT ANY CREDIT!!!

You do NOT need modloader and install help is in the readme.txt

This will replace the squidward people with steve and what it adds is

*Replaces villagers with steve model

*Old hurt sound

*no squidward or bernie

*holy steve (with holy-cross on his back)

KNOWN BUGS!:

*If a zombie bites a steve, it will still turn into a testificate zombie -FIXED

*Witches are the old testificate model still

*When baby steves get eaten by zombies, they scale bigger.

Make steve have pet woles or ocelots

Unfortunately..... yes, all the mod does is change the models of the villager into the players model
and change the skins (it's coded so it does not to replace textures, it adds them) and puts some more values to detect if is a child then applies the correct skin
and changes the sound from an unused sound thats never been in resources (Thats why villagers don't make sound) to the classic hurt sound

I get countless requests to add new things to the villagers (like hold weapons, steve will help you mine) but that's not what this mod does :)

It doesnt need modloader or forge (they both give me black screens) but if you made a mod that required modloader I can install it without it! Good job man :D good job

I really like this mod :D i like steve's to... but also you could improve it that the steve's can hold tools like pickaxes so they can mine,swords so the can fight and that stuff but great mod = diamond :D

I am using 1.5.1 and deleted the META-INF. It gets as far as the Mojang white screen then it all goes black.

PMC didn't update the zip (Probably because it was the same name as before?)
well you probably didn't see the message on the top of this stack (I should've replied the new comment down here)

Anyway the problem was PMC didn't replace the old zip so people were actually downloading the 1.4.5 MC instead of the 1.5.1 MC
Really REALLY sorry for that!
