Oh, and I commented on some of your stuff on Reddit, I'm Dr4ven, you actually got me into MCedit, and now I'm practicing to make awesome stuff.

I have only scratched the surface with MCEdit filters. Apparently the whole PYMCLevel framework is available to use. So far it's just been getBlock and setBlock calls for me.
I also haven't really taken advantage of the smart stuff Python can do. Most of my scripts are procedural and could benefit from some time to tune and fix.
Python is pretty straightforward once you work out the syntax for tuples and loops.
What I have noticed in the filters is that one idea leads to another. CASTLETECT caused EROSION whoch caused SUBSIDE and DRAPE, for instance. There is basically the same code and some bug fixing as I drilled deeper into the methods I had drafted earlier.
Let me know how you get on. MCEdit rocks.

Codewarrior created an extensible framework based on your own implementation of the 'perform()' method. A demo filter is included when you install MCEdit, and is available in the filter directory under your installation location.
