Dear Minecraft Community, this is my first Mod ever :) And it is dedicated to a special person:

Installation

Installation:

1. Download the Mod

2. Download ModLoader by Risugami

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v132-risugamis-mods-preliminary-updates/

3. Open you minecraft.jar

4. Copy the content of the "Tamigott Mod"

5. Paste it into your minecraft.jar

6. Copy the content of the "ModLoader"

7. Paste it into you minecraft.jar

8. DELETE META-INF

9. Run Minecraft and Enjoy my Mod ;)Installation:

HOW TO GET EMERALD INGOT:

1. Smelt an Emerald Gem -> You'll get 1 Emerald Dust

2. Smet the Emerald Dust -> You'll get 1 Emerald Ingot

Deal but without the source code I'd have to completely re code it in minecraft forge
but that's fine as long as you're fine with it being forge :)
(Forge is a lot better than modloader for many reasons and it can install modloader mods too :D)

I'm a lot more experienced with forge and it's installed the same way as ML (it'll install all forgeML and ML mods so it pretty much works with everything instead of just ML mods)
it's a lot better than ML and I only use forge :)
(Like I said before, it installs ML and forge mods so it's all you need)

Great Mod, finally a use for Emeralds :D I know the strength of the Emerald sword (It's kind of like a Gold sword, right?), But what's the strength for Tamigott?

hmm... i have some problems with armour...btw a lil secret is, that i use smth similar to a modmaker a friend created for me. I only use his "modmaker" to create armour....and cause he coded it in 30 mins it's a lil bit messy.....hopefully you understood what i wrote xd my english is kinda bad. lol

Understood :) Still a mod I enjoy playing :) I'm not a fan of mods that change minecraft too much! One way it could be even better, is if there was some more ores as well as tamigott. And does it work with other texture packs by any chance? Thanks!

Oh, and I have a small suggestion, how about the Tamigott ore drops Tamigott Shards, which are the same as ingots, just retextured and named?

In the next update, there will be groundcrystal and like you said, i ll replace the tamigott ingot with tamigott shard.
